why would he go on alone he has a successful KZbin channel
@TheWoodedBeardsmanКүн бұрын
I applied for an early season of the show and made it from phone, to skype interview, but didn't get to the in person trial. Now...I wouldn't bother. I have heard of other shows the 'use' their people. ALONE seems nice, but they abuse you so much with the trial that it would make far more sense to just film my own series.

@@Kingjay19 I think for either way, if I spend 80 days straight filming a survival series and owned and controlled the series myself, I would be far better off. Besides filming 80 days straight at the expense of my personal life, family, etc. really doesn't make any sense. For the fame..meh, to be on something bigger than myself...meh. I can really outdo myself here if I want to make the sacrifice. Thanks youtube! I know Zach Fowler said he'd do the show again. And I know Greg did a 2nd version. But even for me to win, I'd be banking on getting some sort of big game animal, which seems a bit of a luck thing for the most part. I think I would have a fair chance at success, but things can go wrong quickly, and I'm not lasting as a "sleeper" relying on mostly body fat.

3:50 To the person somewhere complaining abiut the trees being used for this.... Notice... All those log sections are straight, dry, dead. Standing dead, or stormfall. Thinning out the dead, helps open the canopy, and the forest floor, making space for living plants and animals. Ground cover, Further, understand. Canada, has an excess of renewable trees. This is pruning a garden. Awesome.!!!

Try water instead of eggs for the bread. A basic bread recipe is bread flour, yeast, water and a pinch of salt. I think that's what Luke uses on Outdoor boys.

So few of the “survival” videos show a fire cover and how useful it can be. Basically it’s 4 poles at the outside corners of the fire pit, with cross poles at the top attached in a square. You have a frame which you can place bark, sticks etc on top of. Place this about 4’ over the fire just enough so it won’t catch fire. It’ll keep a majority of rain and snow from falling on the fire. In this freezing rain, it would’ve made a huge difference.
