The Wooded Beardsman

The Wooded Beardsman

Күн бұрын

We trap, clean, cook and eat this animal using primitive cooking skills, wrapped up in burlap and buried and fire cooked in a primitive earth oven or underground hangi. More videos like this: • Caveman In The Woods |...
In search of a wild meal, we manage to trap live a raccoon. Not many people understand that raccoon, a common pest, is actually really good eating if prepared correctly. I will use a very hot fire to singe off all the hair. Next I will wrap the raccoon in burlap and cactus before lowering it into a pit with hot rocks. Next we bury the raccoon with dirty and then let it cook overnight in a primitive earth oven or underground hangi.

Why didn't you gut it? Or field dress it? I assume that if it still had all of its guts that it would make it taste unpleasant? Just curious..... love your videos!!!! Keep on keepin on brother!!!!!

I don't think a raccoon hide from Texas would be worth much. But, up north they get skinned and dressed out before cooking. I've had barbequed raccoon on several occasions. It tastes just like pulled pork. Maybe we can get the beardsman to do a collaboration with some gourmet cook.
