I have never done lashing, but now I will, especially when I am weaving towels, I learned more about how to keep tension on my rigid heddle than all other you tube videos combined. Thank you

Great video ! Very easy to understand. I am starting out this week, and I like the idea of lashing because using that peg thing is not going to be easy by myself.

I have never done anything but lash on, and have now learned some new tricks! When I run the lashing string through the knots, I divide my bundles by holes and slots, or up and down. I wonder if this is the reason I have tension issues in the down shed. Can't wait to try my next project without the header yarn.

This is a very helpful idea. Thank you. Something to think about for the lashing. You could use a climbers hitch for the center of the lashing. It is a very sturdy knot and would keep your center ... well centered. The only problem is that you would have two tensioning groups so you might have to check to make sure it is even. Also the "D" knot is called a half hitch or a truckers hitch. Great for holding tension and often used while camping to keeping tent flies tied down.

I just got a Spiffy loom. It is a 2 harness table top loom. Do you have any videos on how to warp it and then use it?
