Thank you. As a newbie weaver, this is very useful information to consider, especially in deciding if and where to use yarns from my knitting stash!

So so helpful. Thank you. I am getting ready to try a fairly fat hand dyed yarn and you helped me understand what I am getting into and how to be successful with it.

This is so important. I had to abandon a project because my warp kept breaking. So frustrating and wasteful.

It really is frustrating when the warp breaks (sometimes, despite our best efforts, it breaks anyway), but we hope this helps! Thanks, and happy weaving!

Thank you for this tutorial! Can the warp threads be thinner than the warp threads? I have a 8 dent loom and trying to see if 8/4 warp threads will work for it.

Yes, absolutely. You can explore different thread combinations, and sampling is the best way to try a few and see what you like!
