Pastor Vernon please encourage seeking singles to pursue a relationship with Christ first. And encourage them to ask the Holy Spirit for guidance. Good looks and attractive body parts can get a Believer in trouble …and Satan knows this. After all, he can disguise himself as an angel of light. But the Holy Spirit can give us discernment concerning the heart of a person. Singles Be not wise in your own eyes. I am in the satisfied single category…I did not realize my status until I started reading God’s word. But I truly know and understand singlehood.

It’s often stressed how women need to look a certain way but what about men who get fat and lose their hair? Nothing is said about that. People change and some change is out of your control. Better marry for true love. Looks fade.

I’m grown and was in the single and seeking or should I say mingling category. Since I just turned 47, I’m now trying to seek God more because I need deliverance over my addiction with my lover/flesh. Dr. Vernon, you have the skill to take serious topics and put them in a way that people can receive the message I love it and ask the Lord to give that to me, LOL. Also, I don't know if you have talked about this or not, the man keeping himself attractive for the wife. Women like eye candy too. You don't have to wear a suit, or be dressy but please take some pride in how you present yourself. I can not tell you over the years talking to male friends who want someone they are attracted to but don't consider we want the same.

BLESSINGS! Thanks for THE WORD without compromise!! Although I became separated in 2008, then legally divorced since 2010, GOD has graced me to remain single and Sanctified. While trusting HIM regarding my fruitful future, yielding my will to HIS PLANS, enables me, like numerous others, to surely live alone in Holiness, not at all bored or lonely. Step by step, we are further being prepared for the spouses we desire and shall have, while other Born Again Believers are further joyfully strengthened to remain single. This is so so real. We need more Pastors who tell the truth like this. I love your podcast and teaching. I am single and seeking. It is hard at times. I am 59 I been divorced over 10 years. There hasn’t been a lot of relationships it dates since my divorce. I am not sure what is going on but I am going keep praying. How do you know if it’s Gods will for you to be married. This desire is strong but I don’t understand why God hasn’t allowed it to manifest. I have been praying even fasted a few times. Still nothing in over 10 years. I don’t want to be too old to enjoy my husband it’s depressing at times. Hey I am in Tennessee if there are any prospects out there. 😊
