The best sounding band i ever heard at the Nashville and i heard plenty there. I got dave a pint of bitter in a jug which he enjoyed in his safari suit with pith helmet and smoking his pipe.

Much of what made The Sranglers' music interesting to me was down to Dave Greenfield's keyboard playing. I seem to remember a good many years ago, Hugh Cornwell saying something along the lines that he felt bass guitar was superfluous to his music . . . I suspect that it might've been a not especially veiled (and quite probably warranted) dig at J.J. Burnel!

He is making a definition between piano and keyboards. Keyboards meaning electric organ and later on …..synths.
