Hi Wayne , I’m subscribed to this Batmobile, but I always wait until I have the whole collection before I build, I really enjoy watching your builds, you do let us know the best way to assemble them and any problems there might be , much appreciated, I do like the amount of metal parts so far in this build , I hope the rest of the build is as detailed and the quality as what’s been so far , take care Wayne

Enjoying your build, still on the fence if I want to do this for my son. The wire from the starter will go to the battery

Just started mine this week. As a kid, I watched Batman every week. I even had the Corgi 1966 Batmobile and was looking for this one to return.

I still have my Corgi Batmobile and Batboat. Both are in near mint shape…even after almost 60 years. Do you still have yours?

Great video, Wayne. That definitely was an epic two packs. Once again, I hope all works out okay for you. I'm keeping you in my thoughts.

Looking like a great build so far and with the parts we are seeing, a good value as well.

I found putting the engine in last made it much easier for me a lot easier to move the frame in different positions without worrying about messing up the engine

Now this is a proper Batmobile, much nicer than that ugly Tumbler. Very nice.

Well that was certainly a marathon build (or is that a snickers build these days lol 😅) .. I had the original corgi 1966 Batmobile model when it first came out; sold it (along with about 1500 other models) in 2001 .. helped pay for my wedding! Unfortunately that only lasted until 2013😢. Great video & I am sure everyone is hoping that your mum is on the road to recovery 🙏🏼🙏🏼

On pack 13, if it was tight, odds are you put it on backwards. You wanted the base piece, the one with the pins, on the outside when its put on. I missed that as well, and actually broke the spindle trying to force it on. Fortunately, Fanhome sent me a new part and then it worked better.

More delays for Eleanor, they ran out of parts. Finish line is near but what I'm missing I need so I can mach up fuel and brake lines. ( Stage 22). I'll be receiving the body some time this week, at least I'll be able to cut and buff to get the paint extra smooth, the fenders were terrible. Where theirs a screw point on the bottom side adversely affected the top side, making it look like bad body work. By sanding with 3600 grit eliminated the orange peel and help smooth the lines some what, my 2nd set of fenders were worse then the 1st. Charger should be done in about 2 weeks, I'm going to ignore the dimples in the quarter panels where theirs a stiffners and screw points. To get the quarters right requires more body wo RT k then I care to put in the build.

My video will premier tonight, hope you don't mind but I did compare the size to the international unit of measurement of Wayne Heads 😂

Once it had been accepted by the International Bureau of Weights and Measurements, we are all allowed to use it.

Those "bumpers" are correct for the front suspension arms. These are what the front suspension arms use to "bump" up against the frame at the maximum depressed suspension travel to stop travel past that point...aka "bump stops".

I think the Batmobile might be able to take a iceberg better than your Titanic, when it's all said and done...., massive metal parts.
@jamesjohnson69244 ай бұрын
That starter lead you mentioned is probably the negative battery cable, that will eventually go to the underhood negative battery terminal.
@TABRO2844 ай бұрын
That is really nice, just waiting for something I am a massive fan of before I can get a kit like this.

Hi Wayne! You typically glue the pipe cables in. Is there a reason you didn’t on this build so far?
@WorldofWayneUK4 ай бұрын
They went in really tight. I did glue some in the distributor
@bobbybates26144 ай бұрын

Hey Wayne! What do you use to dispense oil on the screws? Is it a makeup remover pump?

Well, since I can't restart my Enterprise D build from where I left off without starting over, I might as well start the build of my absolute favorite TV/Movie vehicle. So I will be following along and referencing when I get stuck. One question for now. When you use glue to attach some of the tubes/wires/cables, what type were you using?
@WorldofWayneUK3 ай бұрын
Just a good CA superglue

A question for thought: If the Batmobile is jet powered, why does it have a V-8 engine?
@WorldofWayneUK4 ай бұрын
Exactly
@theduel0074 ай бұрын
I think Fanhome is capturing the "Hero" car as used on screen. As happy as I am with that, I would have loved to see the turbine engine used here. Similar to the one Hot Wheels used in their 1/18 model.
