Here in the US I received the same Pack 91 right front door that you did. However I was not notified by Eaglemoss about the corrected version of this door. I contacted Eaglemoss here and they don't have a clue as to what I was talking about. The only response I got from them was they planned to send me an exact replacement for the door I already have. Go figure. I still plan to hold off building Stage 25 and see if the corrected door is sent around Pack 107.

The wing mirror for that side should be mounted on the wing just ahead of the windscreen, so there was a mirror on that side but it wasn't on the door.

2 days till I am caught up with you on pack 3, you said you messed up the main engine build? At least the part you plug the engine into with the male headphone jack like adapter is in good condition so you can continue your build according to the instructions

about the quarter panels ,i hope the skirts are removable (i build the neglected dirty version of the 2nd movie,and there's no skirts on the quarter panels)

Take the mirror off fill in the slot on the door with bondo or putty or j b weld?

Only just started building, as I ran out of room after 1.5 years worth of storing it all. Loving it so far but finding that since I started using abit of 3-1 oil they seem to cross thread easier than without it??

seems to me all they need to do is make a plug that is the same shape as the bottom of the mirror mount, but flush on the top. one screw to remove the mount and pop the plug in.

Great video, Wayne!! Any idea when you’ll get Pack 8 (I call it Magazine 8), for you guys? In my second Top-Up Offer I am two stages into Pack 9 (Magazine 9), in which includes the PCB for the upper saucer section LEDs. Hoping this month I’ll get the final two stages of Pack 9 (Magazine 9) and all of Pack 10 (Magazine 10).

I'm surprised they're sending a brand new door to fix that mistake. Surely it would have been easier to just make a white plug to fit in place of the mirror or something. That seems odd, especially given how they never bothered to fix the flux capacitor in the DeLorean

That's honestly what I was thinking they should've done instead of redoing the entire part. Smaller, easier, and more than likely cheaper than just redoing the entire thing. Sure there'll be grooves from where you can see the hole, but you can overlook it easier.

the wing mirror i would just not add the wing mirror and keep the original door on so the new one would be a spare one if the other one broke

I would advise builders to complete this issue when the replacement door arrives with Issue 29. Installing and removing parts is never a good idea.

That's insane. They should know the door doesn't have the wing mirror, because the mirror mount should already be installed on the right fender by this stage. Someone in the factory just got fired for this screw up.
