At least with the Ecto-1, you can lift the hood and see the beautiful detail on this engine. On the Delorean, that beautifully detailed engine is hidden forever. A waste. Great vid!!!

Watching you assemble the wire connectors to the distributor reminded of the fuel line connectors on the DeLorean. I feel another anxiety attack coming because of all the tiny pieces in this one 😂😂 You’re right about the plugs being covered and so people are actually painting the boot instead of the plugs

On the spark plugs half of the spark plug to 3/4 of the spark plug would be covered by the boot of the sparkplug wire. it really depends on the spark plug wire brand. But there is a small portion of white porcelain that is visible with the wires installed.

With you using the pink mat, I can see the blue of the engine much better. With the grey side showing the contrast between the mat and engine was much harder to see. Could you use the pink side for all future engine episodes please.

Put Wera screwdrivers, tweezer set and magnifier on my Amazon list. Looks like I need to order them before this pack arrives. On a side note I saw the opening and immediately thought of Rick Moranis in “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids”

Please ask them why they chose to use the incorrect replacement lightbar mounting feet that was used after Sony had the vehicle restored versus the original style used in the movie (which is also the same feet they used on the rear lightbar. Love these videos, sir!

The billboard would be a gb2 variant, quite different. I'm wanting to know about the fog lights (they call them driving lights on the webpage and point out they light up by pushing something in the car, like the brake lights) some have mentioned the door logo was wrong somehow as well. We also still need to find out if the proton pack specials are shipping worldwide as well.

I have a question for them as well. In all the promo materials I have seen they do not show the split window tint the original car had. Are they going to have that or is that going to be left up to the mod community? I have not made it this far just yet, but I am debating if I am going to weather my model since the Ecto1 was kinda a beater car and not pristine. I have been considering how I would go about it.

at 14:33 I noticed the left hand piston hood had a gap between it and the main body of the engine did you ever fix that or did it slip past you? hehe I wouldn't have noticed if not for your pink cutting mat

Find out the official colour for the Engine and the Gearbox. You stated in earlier video some painted it silver ? and some left it blue.
