Nynke, what a wonderful excursion to the Tatra Mountains. The views of the flowers and of the mountain landscapes you showed in your video are nothing short of amazing. Another name for 'krokusy' is 'przebiśniegi' -> this one word in Polish literally means 'cutting through the snow', thus reflecting the flowers' ability to grow through the snow cover. These flowers are beautiful harbingers of spring. Now that I am writing those words I realized that I have never been in Tatra Mountains in spring, only in summer and winter. I hope someday I'll be able to make up for this - thank you for inspiration. Kudos to Goetzke and Ekke (not sure if I got the spelling of their names right, please correct me if necessary) for building such a nice and well thought out house with magnificent views from all the windows, as well as for taking you on this beautiful mountain trip and for being such a nice company to you all along the way. I am well aware that your admiration for the beauty of the Tatra Mountains and the joy of a successful trip have dimmed due to the events you told about in your previous video. So how can I comfort you? Reflect on the following words: 'The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem. Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.' /Ecclesiastes 1,1-2 (KJV)/ 'Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.' /Matthew 6,19-21 (KJV)/ 'Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.' /Matthew 6,31-33 (KJV)/ Here is how i understand what is currently happening. At one point in your life you decided to radically change it due to the fact that you felt unhappy and even depressed. You decided to leave your first homeland in order to follow your heart and pursue a new life based on the quest for beauty and harmony as well as for new relationships with people based on spiritual love ('agape'). All these new life objectives that you set for yourself are of spiritual nature; these are what the Bible calls 'treasures in heaven' that belong to the Kingdom of God. Because God is right there: in beauty, in harmony and in love. In doing so, you have freely accepted the nomadic lifestyle, not bothering too much with what you will eat or drink, where you will sleep, how you'll be clothed and so on. Your actions proved effective: you have regained emotional and psychological balance; you have found happiness and joy of life; you have found opportunities to develop your talents as a graphical and film making artist; you have renewed, deepened and strengthened the relationship with your family members; and, last but not least, you have made plenty of new friends. And then came this unfortunate incident in which you lost some of your material possessions to a thief. How to react to this incident and how to stay positive? Nynke dear, just shrug it off. In the grand scheme of things, you have lost nothing - and I really mean nothing as in zero, niente, zilch, nada - that would be of importance. What you've lost are what Ecclesiastes refers to as 'vanity of vanities' and the Evangelist - 'treasures of earth' that can be corrupted by moth and rust and that can be stolen by thieves. Yeah, it may hurt a little for a while when you lose something like a good lens for a camera, this is an important tool of your trade after all. But you are young and strong and I am sure soon you will get yourself an even better one, because, to use the words of Saint Matthew, 'your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things'. Just stay in your dream and keep pursuing 'the treasures in heaven' where your heart is, and do not let this incident discourage you and veer you off the right path. And whenever in your life you will suffer some kind of material loss, just tell yourself 'vanity of vanities, all is vanity' (I love the Latin version of this verse: 'vanitas vanitatum, et omnia vanitas', and the Polish one: 'marność nad marnościami - wszystko marność'); it really works and brings relief, I know it from experience. I hope that I managed to put at least a little smile on your face. Uściski Ninko. 🍀🥰🤗

@@reisnaarpolen6112 I usually climb higher, to those snowy peaks in the distance, but I very often climb Nosal, treating it as a warm-up and acclimatization on the first day of the trip. I like this mountain, it's almost in the middle of the city. Next to it (on the side from which you came) is slightly higher but more attractive in terms of views - Wielki Kopieniec 1328 m. It offers a beautiful 360-degree panorama. I like to be there during sunsets. This is often how I say "goodbye" to the Tatras after several weeks of hiking. It's close so you can climb both mountains in a short time.
