Nah, it feels really good to use. It can keep up in close range gun fights if you're accurate and quick. It also handles long range engagements very well. It's just harder to use than cheesy weapons like the FG 42, BAR, and MP-40.

I have a good trigger finger and aim and all I can tell yall right now is that i almost can never get the third shot in at close range against any gun unless the opponent misses bullets. Every time i die its after I hit 2 shots and before I shoot the 3rd. Like some people have said, I rather use kar98k with iron sight

Gewehr 43 and M1A1 for the win, they are just the fun to use out of the rifles IMO and definitely my favorite from that weapon class. EDIT: Ace when testing the recoil, it would be nicer if you colored the first and second recoil test with different colored dots. :)

IIIRattleHeadIII When people head glitch; they shoot from behind cover but only their head is visible, making it harder to hit them. It's a glitch cos even tho they can aim at you, you can't see their body/arms.

+Jimmy McJonkins head glitch is when you go behind a cover, but the camera of the player is above the hit box of the head and the head hitbox is behind cover as well as the rest of the body, but the camera is above the cover and since in 99.9% of the shooters you shoot from your camera and NOT the gun, you are able to shoot while your head and body are behind cover, even though visually the 3d model of the head is above the cover and so is the camera you are shooting from, while you can NOT be hit, because the head hit box is, again, behind the cover with the rest of your body, that's why it's a GLITCH... If only the head AND head hitbox are above the cover and can be hit, then it's just really overpowered cover.

No, the MK14 was a 3-4 shot kill, with the potential to kill in two shots at any range if one was a headshot, without an attachment. It also had a faster fire rate cap at around ~625 RPM. Much faster than any the semi-autos in this game.

Can you give some tips on how to nade flags, Hardpoints and War spots on every map? What trajectory should the nade/semtex have to land right on the flag, how long should you cook it so enemy can`t react to it and get a guaranteed kill, maybe test out what buildings you can throw nades over, how to bounce them off walls, things like that would be great :D

Rapid fire is the best attachment for this weapon! 475rpm is significantly better than 444. It's still way slower than I can pull the trigger, but it's much better. I can absolutely melt people with RF and extended mags. WHY is this the last attachment you'd put on this weapon? Also, don't discount the lens sight. Once you unlock the dot reticle, it becomes a nicer-looking alternative to the red dot sight, which on Axis weapons looks like a ridiculous mailbox.

When will Sledgehammer learn that all the semi autos should have a faster ttk across the board compared to their full auto competition. Semi autos are harder to use and you actually have to master shooting them at the highest fire rate before they get oversampled, while still aiming. I also can't drop shot with semi autos, my brain won't let me spam the trigger, aim, and hold down the thumbstick at the same time. That's just another disadvantage semi autos have over full autos. Cod has never had a semi auto gun that was overpowered, outside of people using modded controllers on the semi autos from cod4/waw.

Logan Ward The semi auto snipers weren't op, their clips were too small and they weren't versatile. There's a reason you don't see tryhards running around with semi auto snipers and dominating in those games. And if you're talking about the mk14 from mw3, it was only op if you had a very good trigger finger, and even then it wasn't as consistent as the acr. You'd have to actively train for months to reach the 450 rpm benchmark (caused by frame rounding), and doing that consistently in gunfights isn't even realistic unless you've trained your trigger finger for even longer. There's a reason the most overused gun (by good players) in that game is the acr. That also applies to mlg, when that game was current.

Logan Ward I don't see people needing to actively train for months with op full auto guns to dominate with them. And as for the drakon, it had no aim assist and I don't see top tier players using it, so I don't consider that op.

chrisOncrak for the semiautomatic snipers in mw2 and mw3 you don't have to train to spam the trigger, same goes for the mk14 , as for the drakon it does have aim assist it's just a miniscule amount, also pros don't have to be using a weapon for it to be OP, it's statistics are what make a weapon op

I actually love this gun. I got it in zombies once, and loved the minimal recoil and fire rate. I actually like it a tiny bit more than the Garand, and find it pretty good on Shipment. Only problem is that five shot range without having extended mags

I was one of those who had the twitchy of fingers. Mod Controls kinda effd that for me. The trade was always less control over your right thumb. But understand why they put the cap in place. My friends knew and wouldn't even get salty when i joined the opposite team on CoD4 S&D matches.

I just unlocked this gun; I am an avid M1A1 user and that weapon holds my highest K/D on my profile. Is the Gewehr worth using over the M1A1? Mind you, I have the epic varient "Kapitan" which has a fantastic iron sight and I feel no need to use any attachment sight for it. I am playing on PC and this guy feels different there. Its pretty much unusable without Grip while ADS. With base firerate any other rifle even SMG will kill you unless you hit 2 heads which is very unlikely. Possible fixes for this gun. More reserve ammo, 2 shot kill up to 25 meters 3 shot kill up to 50 meters. 4 shot kill on any range above. Removing idle sway. I am not trying to make the gun overpowered... im just trying to make it usefull.

I love the carbine but I haven’t had success with the Gewehr. Yes it is spam-able but the redeeming factor in the carbine is laser precision at range which the Gewehr doesn’t have. On top of this the 10 round mag with this type of weapon is pretty awful.

Hardcore player here as well. FMJ is the neglected gem in this game because there’s SO many headglitches and I’m not accurate enough to hit them sometimes with full auto, FMJ let’s me aim for the wall depending on what that wall may be

This rifle is best used , leading your first shot with a rifle granade , I realize that attachment was not available when you made this video..this is an attempt at a addendum to that.l.do believe this rifle survived all the nerfs...that is to say- it- is -what it was, and what it used to be! But, rifle grenades help alot with this one. Just my two cents!

I really dont understand game balance anymore. Smgs = god tier. BAR = god tier. Stg = god tier...anything else is hot garbage. Its..really weird. Every shotgun but combat, LMGS could use a faster sprintout time, Waffe/m1928 need a range or recoil buff I'm tired of getting outgunned by coward ppsh users. m1941 could have consistent recoil, m1 Grand, m1a1, SVT and Gewehr all need fire rate buff and less recoil except m1a1 fine since it has the lowest.

Plaz 1398 I like FMJ in Hardcore because so many like to headglitch there and FMJ lets me put rounds through their cover without needing to aim for their head and, because health is so low there, you generally only need 2 or 3 shots through cover.
