It’s perfect in terms of gameplay. I am disappointed that there isn’t any attachments for it outside of the arrows. I wish we could make a build with a slower draw time but better velocity and range vs a faster draw time with less range and velocity.

The caustic (gas) tips are really most effective in Hardpoint. If you know you’ve got targets in there, one hit and they’re choking. Also bypasses the trophies.

its not just "meme" potential at all. It's amazing because it has 1 hit potential up to 20 meters anywhere in the body at all. It also has significantly faster "ads" and movement speeds then the sniper rifle class. and more range then all shotguns in the game. It also ignores trophy systems which is REALLY STRONG,, and blastcap arrows are one hit kill NO MATTER WHAT at ANY RANGE EVEN AGAINST RIOT SHIELDS. You say "meme potential" but it has glaring strengths that other things in the game do not have at all. They're quite viable as a secondary for SURE

Now we just need a slingshot in the pistol category. Faster fire rate, infinite base ammo since it's just rocks off the ground, and a one hit kill to the head, but a 2-3 hit kill anywhere else depending on the range and where you hit them. Then you could have different ammo types, like explosive, or gas grenades, as well as napalm/thermobaric instead of thermite, a "shotgun round" that can damage multiple enemies but would only be a one-shot kill at nearly point blank range, and finally a tracker round that would only deal a small amount of damage from a direct impact but would spray a bunch of trackers like the similar utilities do. It would also have fairly high movement speed and the fastest sprint to fire times in the game.

We are talking about a Piece of wood with a glorified rubberband firing PEBBLES at people... if u can constantly hit a headshot at borderline-long mid to god forbid LONG RANGE in general with a horrid projectile drop, at that point u may as well be usibg the bow or spear with how ur hitting them shots or just a gun...or ur hacking with a intense Calculated aimbot. Infinite ammo and a 1hit headshot is the best buff it can have. But back onto the concept real quick: Instead of grenade, lets get a drill charge type grenade that takes a minute to go off then before it explodes it does a Ding noise that only blows you up cause that would be the funniest humilating ammo type... Ya get stuck and u hear a dam over timer tick before it dings and u blow up ro really cement it into ur brain ya got outplayed by a child's homemade toy.

If it has infinite ammo, then it invalidates the need to make the aiming penalties harsh. The weapon you're taking about would be to shoot a pea catapult at people until you get a head shot, which isn't a very fun weapon to use and has absolutely no skill because it's more luck than anything. And this is all under the pretense of balancing it with a one shot head shot in mind. Hell no, that's dumb. It's a rock, and you're telling me you want it to do one shot to the head? It takes multiple shots to the head with nearly every gun in the game, but you want a rock to be one shot to the head? This is why there isn't any legacy content of a slingshot in Call of Duty because it's ridiculous and impossible to balance.

a trophy does counter the blastcap arrows if it sticks to a riot shield and the shield is close to the trophy system... it's very weird and specific but it has happened a few times to me so far.

For those of us that play Invasion/Ground War, the explosive tipped bolts are surprisingly effective at dealing with vehicles. 3 or 4 hits seems to be all you need to disable an LTV, and since the explosive damage doesn't care if you fully 'charge' the bow before shooting or not, you can spam those fairly quickly. Of course, it's not as reliable at taking down aerial killstreaks, but it still take care of the low-flying ones as long as you're close enough. As a side note, how ridiculous is it that a literal bow and arrow is a more effective counter to vehicles than any of the actual launchers in the game?

Honestly the only thing I really hate about it is there's no way to make it more accurate. At medium range the center dot seems to be off to the right and it makes it very hard to accurately take those shots. There should have been more attachments on it like the crossbow.

You dont have to swap weapons to cancel a draw, you can tap reload and your character will cancel the draw without swapping weapons. Spear throwing on the other hand makes you swap to cancel a throw

As others have said, I also feel the crossbow needs a buff now. Although it IS more customizable than the C-Bow, I don't think that gives it enough of an edge to beat the C-Bow. I think they should add more arrow types for the Crossbow, like Ice arrows or Shock arrows or something.

I'll say this much for the Torque compound bow, you gotta be a near hardcore enthusiast and have some wicked sick aiming skills for it otherwise you're wasting your time with it. The gold skin camo requires 50 hip fire one hit kills. And when I was working on the platinum or weird chrome skin which requires 25 one hit kills I happened to pull a 90 meter kill shot against a loser hacker. I just couldn't believe my luck. Sadly I forgot to record it Given that it's explosive arrows can easily and swiftly scrap vehicles and tanks I sometimes wish that it would have been added to MWii

I love the bow. Huge fan of archery. I have a compound bow in real life. I really wish this would've been more than a gimmick. It's awesome it's in the game. I'm super happy about it. But there are alot of options to customizing a bow and all we get in game is arrow type. And not even a nod to Green Arrow by having the boxing glove arrow. Activision! Honestly, this is the first time ever they've added a secondary that I would heavily consider changing out a pistol for. Not only is it a really good weapon for up close and far away, but it's just super fun to use. Edit: It also shreds vehicles with the blastcap arrows. It takes around 5 to destroy a tank in ground war, so have fun warzone players:)

Absolutely solid addition to Call of Duty, love this bow! And because I've played Destiny for a good long while, the Boyw just felt natural to me, I do think the ADS needs to be fixed slightly, so that the dot isn't moving around as much, overall, I think the Bow could use the same number of options as the Crossbow, which I now feel is vastly inferior to the Bow, feels great to pick off players with this weapon, especially Shields & Snipers.

RE mag holster..... I noticed that without this perk I could not tap fire. I had to briefly press my fire button for a tap fire, but with mag holster I could actually tap fire and quick shoot arrows. Regardless, full draw arrow shots seem like the best option.

I tried the bow yesterday, and it can be hard to get the timing for the full draw right while being fired at. If you release too soon you won't kill them and will need a second shot, but if you wait too long they kill you before you can fire. I ended up with a lot of kill trades as a result. Also, aiming down sights actually feels less accurate than hipfire due to the weird sight wobble from holding the string at full draw. The other thing I noticed is that if a riot shield user stims at the right time, the thermite bolts won't kill them even with 2 direct hits to the shield, but one regular thermite "stick" will always kill them. I hope this is a bug and the thermite arrows get fixed/buffed to kill a shield user with one shot, especially since one of the listed benefits is supposed to be bullet penetration.

Im not a cod main. I main destiny. And i can tell you this bow is significantly easier to use and much more powerful than any bow we have in destiny. In my first game with it in a game i dont main i killed almost one enemy with every arrow in my inventory. And got a 25.0 kd.

Them snapshot arrows bumped this bow from badass to just downright lunacy especially if you have fast hands. Wall hacks for days. Ripper arrows are very good in WZ. Use it like a lead sniper and those headshot kills feel fantastic

i dont know if anyone has run into this yet but last night when i was using the snapshot arrows, hitting someone who had tac mask on i think negates the damage. im pretty sure i hit him and the arrows just did 1hp of damage. the symbol for tac mask came on my screen too. maybe hitting them in the head will still kill them but idk about body shot

I did just find out, using the snapshots i getting an icon pop up when shooting them, it seemed like it dulled the damage? Unsure what perk it was, i could be wrong it could hsve been an icon saying they are immune to thr snapshot effect and i missed my shot but im fairly sure i hit them Edit: definitely not missing its the helmet icon that pops up and seems to dampen damage
