I haven’t played a CoD game extensively since Black Ops 4. I’ve been grinding Black Ops 6 and very much enjoying the core gameplay, but Treyarch’s support of the game so far makes me hesitant to want to play it long-term. There’s so many bugs that should have really been caught in playtesting and makes me lose faith in the studio

Season 1 is a hot mess for now. So many new bugs. I got directly crashes every 30-60 minutes. Had none in beta and only a handful full before season 1. Extraction is another bad map. Hideout is quite good though. But the spawns are terrible. I really want to live the game, but bad maps, terrible spawns and technical errors make it really hard.

You should also touch on the fact that they removed the ability to more specifically fine tune the blueprint/skin system customization. Feels like such a slap in the face to have a fully added feature and then just remove it without so much as word to the community.

The whole cosmetics system is a disaster at the moment. It's laughable that there's such a huge push to pay for skins and blueprints when using them is bugged to hell and liable to do things like give away your position with Blackcell fire effects dripping through ceilings or remove your primary weapon entirely upon spawn if you happened to equip an attachment the game just doesn't like on a certain blueprint.

The Skins function that they (briefly) introduced was the only way to fix this, but now that it's gone, there's no way to fix this now. It's pretty annoying that this bug has existed since the game came out and still hasn't been fixed.

My biggest beef with Season 1 is that buying a Battle Pass for 1100 CoD Points no longer rewards you with 1400 CP when you complete the Battle Pass. Instead you only get back 1100 CP. A better Strat now would be to NOT buy the Battle Pass but simply complete the free items as that way you net 300 CP… I bought the S1 Battle Pass as usual and only discovering the above issue afterwards. I won’t make that mistake again next Season…

If you had 1100CP before Season 1, if you don’t buy the Battle Pass, but complete all the free items, you will have 1400CP at the end of the grind plus all of the free items (which could include some of the operator skins and blueprints). If you buy, you’ll only have 1100CP BUT you’ll have all of the Battle Pass items (including all operator skins and blueprints). Having the extra 300CP has historically been more valuable to me, as I can bank them over many seasons and spend them in the Store on an operator skin that I specifically want (typically a “Rose” skin). Until this Season you would always get the extra 300CP in the Battle Pass whether you went the free or purchase route, so it was a no brainer to purchase it. Now, I will have to weigh carefully the non-free items in the Battle Pass against the ability to purchase a “Rose” operator skin in the future. For many, the best Strat might be choosing what you want rather than what you’re given… 😅

My biggest big complaint is one that I just don’t see getting enough attention: Free For All is completely bugged and ignoring some top of leaderboard players from the Top 3 at the end, crediting a player for a loss, even when they had 30+ kills, highest score, and highest K/D ratio. It happened to me on nine matches in a row where I was the top player in every conceivable and visual metric and was left out of the final top 3 completely. I have several videos saved of this happened by and I have seen other players post the same, but none of these posts that I saw got much traction and were buried under the mountain of other issues you have already covered. As someone who has played easily over 10,000 FFA matches since Black Ops 4, I literally have never seen this ever happen where I was credited with a loss when the leaderboard displays me as a winner or top 3. It happened nine times in a row before I quit playing. The other issues I have seen, but I play FFA a lot because I am typically playing solo and my matchmaking in team modes has been very frustrating and I have come to enjoy the mode, but this literally makes the mode unplayable for me when the primary reward for playing is “winning”.

I didn't notice it much before the patch, but apparently you get stunned anytime someone hits you while you have your melee out and it feels absolutely horrible. We even have the Bruiser perk to incentivize melee builds yet the effect is like getting hit by rapid stun grenades. At first I thought it was overpressured ammo, or maybe getting hit in the leg/head but no, if you get hit anywhere by anything at all you lose all momentum. Wtf is the point of even having a dedicated melee slot at that point?!

I might not have the dlc record (120-5) recorded but I do have my other matches with similar/higher records uploaded on my XBL/gameplay as proof (I can add it unlisted here if Mr.LeArn ThE MaPs wants to) Idk how to show KD but cod tracker shows all the older Cods online. It's quite easy if you know how to chain streaks (ptfo get chopper, suicide, chopper gets chopper) especially on 10v10. And pretty much exploiting the system. But every cod has a way to do so. But this isn't really the point.

I understand WHY they’d want to restrict XP Tokens, like, I have some 80 1HR weapon tokens on MW3 alone, and if I had access to them, I’d guaranteed be able to burn through them, level everything up almost immediately, and still have tokens to spare I imagine the mindset is probably along the lines of ‘okay, carrying xp tokens forward is letting players complete everything way too fast, and then they complain about not having anything to do for 7 months’ What makes this kind of thing frustrating for me however is that they NEVER attempt to justify these sorts of decisions themselves, so the entire community gets mad and they have no one to blame but whoever’s supposed to be in charge of PR.

Constant stutters, lag, hit registration just not existing at times, my gun shooting after I released the trigger, and INVISIBLE VEHICLES in Nuketown (at least on my end) made it completely unplayable last night. And yes, I mean the vehicles were invisible after a certain amount of time. I'd see the curtains and dummies inside the bus but not the truck pulling the trailer, the bus itself, the jeep, or the cars, and I can shoot through them. I quit after it kept happening, I'm not getting accused of cheating when I can't even see the edge of the vehicle. Also, love when I see my grenade go over the still visible bus, turn right, and my grenade is now thrown in front of me and explodes before I can get away.

I was extremely shocked to hear about the incorrect damage ranges and values. The entire time I played I was using an m4 to get it gold and was playing nuketown playlist. I DID notice that I was getting tons of hitmarkers without getting a kill, but that is EXACTLY how it has been for me since launch. One game I would get a lot of kills with very few deaths with the m4 doing very well, and then next 3 to 4 matches I could hit someone at point-blank range 6 times in the back before they turn around and kill me with me STILL getting hits. So it felt like I could hit someone 12 to 15 times just to have them turn and kill me in 2 to 3 with a tanto. Or worse, they shoot a burst marksman while turning without a single bullet being shown as getting closer than 2 feet to my model but every bullet counted as a hit and killed me.

Idk wtf Activision is doing. They pissed off literally the entire community with those tokens and on top of that, the integration completely ruined Warzone. Removal of the backpack, perk changes, movement changes, graphical changes, it all sucks. I swear, it feels like a downgrade. The omni-movement was bo6's big selling point but idk what they did, but the movement actually feels MORE sluggish now. Warzone was in a solid place, mechanically speaking. It was stable, decently balanced and optimized well. The graphics looked nice and crisp, battles actually required some tactical thinking because you could carry so many plates and extra equipment and now, all of that is just gone EDIT: Yes, I enjoyed the backpack system. I've explained my reasons to someone in the replies so if you're planning on replying about that, don't bother because I won't respond back. Got enough on my mind without having to fight a war just to defend my opinion

The only bug I care about right now is that I can no longer create weapon builds. I only have 2 builds per gun but when I try to make another it doesn't save (but the build counter will sometimes increase).

Havnt seen anyone else talk about it but another bug is for your weapon loadouts. Grenades, attachments, perks, they will not save and revert to whatever your loadout was prior to customizing

Is it my imagination or did they have a more detailed skin/blueprint system for individual attachments and parts of guns yesterday, and now it's gone? 🤔 Framerate is shocking on Series X at 120fps, drops and stutters. Massive pause whenever you pick up someone's gun from the floor.

In this update, I've experienced two minor bugs. One when playing warzone, my calling card and emblem keeps gets reset upon start up (Warzone specific) and my name shows up as all question marks in the drop cut scene to games; this is fixed when in game. The second one is my clan tag got changed randomly and I can't change it back, accessing the edit clan tag option boots me to lobby. Though minor, my original clan tag is very personal to me as it is a reference to my disability and this issue is very annoying that I can't display it.

I didn't have an issue with them saying that they wouldn't carry over to BO6 because they gave the impression that since it was a different game, those tokens would not work. They would work in Warzone because Warzone would be "integrated". The fact that they were able to enable them and then take them away just shows the intention and the deceptive practice in the game's implementation.

Mw2 never had server issues, half way through mw3 I had packet bursts for every single game. Season 0 of Bo6 I had no issues at all, then once the season started, I’m right back to mw3 mode due to constant packet bursts at 20 ping. I don’t understand why this happens

I got killed by a saug player twice in a row today. I had a saug with 8 attachments and still his build got me first. I got him next and tried his load out on him, and honestly it was a much slower ttk for me. As absurd as skill based damage sounds, it's the best term I know for it

Definitely am having a horrible connection experience since S1 dropped, packet burst was an occasional issue and now its constant. Latency and packet loss metrics are stable too so just $70 game moment.

I was able to obtain Dark Spine for both the Krig and Saug, but on both there does seem to be some weird tracking issues. I had to get a number of triples before it decided to count. It felt like if the triples took too long, they wouldn't count. The ones I got to finish them off were very quick

Totally agree, Ace. They should re-instate the Double XP for Multi-player as well. I don't want to download WarZone and use up memory just to have to work round the issue.

Just saw the pinned comment but I wanted to say, I view double XP tokens in the same light that I view COD points. If you're able to build up COD points between titles and they carry those forward with no problem, why can't you carry forward the double XP tokens in the same way? They literally serve the same function regardless of the progression system. Not to mention that people pay money for monster cans or bundles that have the tokens in them.

I was so confused when I saw videos about the Tokens transferring and then got on and didn't have any at first I thought maybe I was remembering wrong and I'd used up the MW3 tokens but this makes more sense

Another issue I noticed myself and heard others experience on reddit, is that for whatever reason, in warzone, if you have the game installed through steam, you will have terrible fps on the new area 99 map, because there's something hogging the CPU usage. Someone swapped to warzone from the xbox app, and the problem was solved. Ridiculous. Edit: my fps went from 100+ on rebirth to around 30-40 on area 99 since the update. I'm missing more shots and getting tilted wayyy faster in warzone. It feels unplayable for me

The double up should be left as a loyalty bonus. They gave us those as a reward when they weren't required at the end of a games lifespan, then took them back when they were useful

I finally prestiged thanks to having access to all my xp tokens. While I was prestige’s perks like ninja and ghost were glitched and remained locked until I hit level 54!!! I got slapped 3 times because playing pubs w/o those perks and removing the tokens partway through.

Extractions feels like a Warzone area. It obviously is cut from Avalon but it feels kinda odd for a MP map but I don't hate it. Hideout feels great, but still disappointed it is cut from Avalon. Hacienda will be the same issue. It feels very lackluster in terms of aesthetic variety.

The whole double xp thing is ridiculous. You can’t have them they say. Then we get them by mistake when they break so many things in the game and rather than focus on those real problems they introduced, they make the xp tokens top priority. Wonder how long it will take them to disable the Warzone work around because it seems like they’re very adamant about not letting us have those for some silly reason. Most people never come close to sniffing level 1000 so I’m not sure what the issue is. If it was so easy for them to accidentally give us our tokens why not just leave them. Of course there’s a beneficial bug and it becomes the most important thing to fix. What a Call of Duty move.

they added a whole thing with being able to edit your weapon more in gunsmith, you could equip a extended mag from a blueprint to the same gun, i thought it was well neat and then they removed it in the same update as the Double XP, been completely loyal to this game so far but im starting to have my doubts...

The decision-making and the way they handled the launch of their game are absolutely ridiculous. It is starting to related with how MW II was back then. Black Ops 6 launched with a great experience, showcasing Treyarch's signature playstyle and fresh content after being stuck with the old engine during Cold War. But now, it’s all been easily ruined by stupid decisions from stakeholders who just don’t understand the concept of playing the game for fun.

The Darkspine Camo on the Saug isn’t completely bugged, it just doesn’t track every triple kill. I was stuck on 2/3 for several matches and got it completed, when I got the first triple kill in HC. So if you stuck as well, just try HC. Worked for me at least (:

For me maps are the biggest issue and i find them quite terrible with enemies spawning right upon your back not to mention they feel dull and empty compared to MW2/MW3, you almost can't play any tactics, it's just a pure chaos where luck and better gun is deciding, what a shame treyarch.. i'm definetely dropping that title for now (10v10 was the only game mode which i've found at least somehow entertaining)

I'm not installing Warzone just to use my XP Tokens. Also, there are so many things the developers CAN do, but they refuse to for some odd reason. Because not only were you able to use Tokens from older CODs with no issues, but you can even use older camos from older CODs on BO6 guns by doing a glitch, and guess what, it had zero issues. Someone put the mastery camo from MWIII on a BO6 Weapon and it had no issues, the camo was working properly. But again, Developers don't want to do that for some odd reason when its clearly possible.

The Dark Spine camo challenge for the Saug does work. The timer for what counts as a triple kill is ridiculously short. No idea why, and I believe the Krig is suffering from a similar issue.

Another bug that made me honestly very upset is spycam being broken and using all charges on a single scan, regardless if you scan an equipment, a person or have Tactical expert giving you 4 total charges, all are used in one scan. Which sucks since I actually like using spy cam for helping my team and assisting me in finding enemy's since I'm honestly really bad at picking out enemies at a distance

What I’ve noticed with ninja when I play is that it only sounds loud when I use anything besides a smg. I’m not sure if the enemy can hear my footsteps but it seems I sound 2x louder than the normal footsteps when I don’t have ninja equipped.
