I have played Empire and Rebellion ...but it seems that the Rebellion has some more Gameplay abilitys than the Empire. When I send a Victory to a Planet with a Medium Shipyard+Advanced Fighters Upgrade I couldn'T upgrade that Victory. i could only upgrade Victorys that were build on the planet.

Alright, after playing as the Rebelion and becoming the New Republic I just have to say that the New Republic is strong and is more than a match for the empire. And the world that I have to say is a high priority for rebelion to take over is Kuat, since when the Rebels get control over it KDY will give the Rebels a dreadnought, (Mandator-class). And it destroys ISDs and any other capital ships easily. Its only rival would be the Executor SSD. Also the mission that you get from Mon Mothma to take her to Mon Calamari is a good mission to focus on, if you arent in the late game and have a few high tier capital ships and frigates. Because this mission will provide it for you. So for anyone thinking about playing as the rebels or anyone that are these are my tips for you.

Colt You just have to conquer Coruscant, Kuat and Corellia. After you have conquered those planets you will become the New Republic. You will then be able to make the T2-B Tank, T4-B Tank, New Republic Local Administration (Income Structure), New Republic Barracks (Structure), New Republic Heavy Factory (Structure), New Republic infantry, E-Wings, K-Wings, Corona Frigate, MC-75 Baracuda, MC-80b, Mediator, Defender Destroyer and New Republic Star Destroyer. Or in other words very bloody OP.

The secret to the W is Y wing/B wing spam. I took out that SSD something and vadar and a frigate with rebel one, three dreadnoughts and 2 quazars (god know's this spelling got me fucked up plus 10 x wings and 10 y wings. Albeit I lost the whole fleet except the quazes and a dreadnought

Actually...at Week 80 I have to deal with 20 Black Sun Capitals + Escorts and they can just piss so many fighters out of their Penis Hangar. I hoped the Rebellion Level 5 Station would be enough to hold them...+ the Defense Platforms, but no. A Rebel level 5 Station is the Empire Level 3 Station. A fucking exact Copy. I was furious. Either way, I too made some mistakes and my next Extreme playthrough will be a bit better. But..I realized that the Rebellion is to weak and the Empire...kinda as well. I am not sure why, but the Black Sun is ALWAYS a bigger danger than the Empire, or the rebellion...heck in my Empire Game the Rebellion got conquered by the Corporate Authority. Also I don'T udnerstand why the Rebels cannot build Mines on Mining Planets. It's not like you can build an unlimited amount of them...

Oh, if you get a max level Rebel Base with a factory on the same planet, you can build artillery. Group that sucker with a Mon Calamari squad for its MDU (shield generator) for safety, or not, and you should be able to outrange turbolaser towers. It takes forever to build, though. You can also just barely outrange turbolasers with X-Wings/Z-95s, but only if you have them flying circles out of range. If you set them to attack the towers, they'll fly into its range.

Hey Shack, just some control tips: In space, while you have nothing selecting you can hold Ctrl and double click a unit to select all units of that class (so doing it to a fighter will select all X-wing, A-wing, Z-95 etc.), very useful for rebels with all your different fighter and bomber types (also works for cap ships too). Also when moving if you hold right click at the location you can pick a facing for you fleet, it's really useful for setting up behind a space station for defence. Also for the Mon Mothma mission you should take your Liberation fleet and just smash through the intersections, pick up mon mothma and then smash your way back, you don't have to hold the intersections after your done but it's the quickest and least defended path to Mon Calamari (also forces the Empire and Black Sun to waste money and resources recapturing the intersections and fight each other a little).

The ground of toydaria was destroyed but the hutts during the Clone wars when they found out the toydarians had a secret hideaway from their owners (the hutts). The plant life was eradicated by the playground they released and they dryied up the seas (it's never explained how) leaving behind the coral reef trees we see in the Clone wars they sea beds still have enough humidity back then to live on the surface but it was still being evaportaed so I guess by the time of the rebellion it's all but inhabitable. As someone who was first turned onto mods of this game via Shack, I cannot enjoy this series enough! I am currently in my own campaign as the Rebels and I am enjoying the difficulty of the AI quite a bit. I've had four successful defenses of Kashyyyk on the ground. I think there have been roughly 120 units thrown at the planet from the Empire and Pirates.

Don't bother going through ryloth to hoth, go through the intersections fallen and then ord ibbana. Then put mon mothma in the liberation fleet and rush her to mon cal you need those ships now! Also blockade all the hutt worlds as they keep and spawning in free units. Take out the corporate sector and mandalore and the black sun forces and finally the hapes consortium. But only one at a time. You also need to build as ma y mon cals as possible

people underestimate how good the black sun really are it pretty difficult to loss a space defense as them thanks to the plasma satellite and they get some great capital ships like the venator and providence

I've found a good tactic for taking planets as the rebels is to build up a large force of stealth units (Han & Chewie, Kyle Katarn, Kota's special forces and 4 infiltrator units) bypass the space defences hit the ground and dig in with ground defences, then capture as many of their vehicles as possible. Currently on week 30 and i've been able to remove the the Black Sun completely from the western part of the map without losing any of my invasion units and about to attack the core.

The plasma burst canon was originally on the black sun/zann consortium space stations from I believe level 3 or higher in the forces of corruption expansion for the base game. It would appear they have modified it to be another station to build rather than a hard point on the station itself which makes it slightly more useful. It is the black suns version of the Rebellions Ion Canon or the Empire’s Hypervelocity canon

Schack, at 40:00 you can see, IF you look closely that you could get to mon mothma in 4 space battles, falleen, intersection 3, 2 and ord ibanna. You would get controllers of all of the without having to worry about a grund battle. Just thought you shuold know. Keep up the good work.

Shack, you should build more AA turrets and use them against ground units. Even though you have to manually target them it is really worth it because they deal great splash damage and have far better range than other turrets! And btw another great video love the series

I know it is easier said then done but try to take all the outer rim in the north then grow your forces then move out. You are being a little aggressive. If you move your troops to far it will leave your other planets undefended. I love your vids man. Keep it up. I hope it didn’t seem rude

As something to note reinforcements are spread out to other buildings in space, for example a capital ship yard will call in cap ships to protect it. So a medium shipyard and cap ship yard can call in a fleet by themselves basically. Ik it's a little way off but it offers heavy worlds decent defence

Shack, I recommend controls the corporate sector, in my opinion, is the ideal place to build technology centers, is practically the most remote part of the map, gives a good amount of money and is surrounded by your planets so you can not be attacked for the empire and the black sun.

And might it b worth it for the moment to postpone the Mon Mothma plan in return for consolidating your positions? You're being hit from several sides and you have limited chokepoints, particularly with the minor empires. It might be worth it to pull back and fortify some more of your positions so you're not having to play whacka sith with your forces until you're ready for the offensive again.

I would halt the conquest of the Outer Rim for now. You simply do not have enough ships to hold your fronts. I suggest blietzkrieging your way through minor factions and back planets with the Liberation fleet, while building a shit ton of cheap fighters/corvettes so they can't build more space forces. Forget about land battles for some time, and secure all of the orbits first. While your fleet has taken care of this, establish a ground-force production facility(preferably far away from the frontline) and clear out said planets. Only when your back is fully secured, you should push out. As the Rebels, you CANNOT afford overextending yourself at this stage. Good luck, Captain.

hey shack a possible strategy for you would be to use home one and that mc80 you are building to just blockade the corporate sector so you don’t have to use ground forces. also you should still have a fighter ship yard above yavin to build b wings. and with the making it to mon mothma it is really just a way to get the occasional capital ship unless they’ve changed it. i do believe however you have to take care of the hapes and hutts along with corporate sector or else you will have an AI on your border that will continue to build ships to challenge you in the area.

A good objective to look at is to capture Hapan. The planet can build Hapan battle dragons, which are surprisingly cheap and ridiculously op capital ships

The empire starts with only 2 star destroyers that are both heroes. One of them is vader and comes with his tie advance and tie interceptors and an advance tie bomber (the one with 4 pods attached to the cockpit) The second I believe is the admiral that jump out of hyperspace too early before the battle of hoth, he has a normal star destroyer and has a -10% non bonus. His star destroyer has normal tie fighters

Invest in more tanks and ground vehicles, and get more of those commandos! They can conduct raids, but they’re also fantastic front line infantry thanks to that portable build pad thing.

You should try using your A-Wing's special abilities. Especially going against many Black Sun fighters. Missiles are most effective when two fighters squadrons are approaching each other, so you're gonna lose a lot of fighters unnecessarily if you don't use that ability at least on approach. Also just for a tip, Ion Cannons are great against CROCs, which otherwise will just chew your fighters to pieces. Torpedoes are good against IPVs, as I am sure you know. Don't forget about tactical upgrades.

BTW Vader is not just a troop. He has space forces as well. That auto-resolve could have been a big victory, or a big defeat. And enemies are able to sneak past your planets because you don't have any space forces/stations in orbit.

Hey shack you may not have found this out yet but using an AA turret you can deal more damage faster and can wipe infantry squads in one volley, the only downside is that you have to tell it to shoot by clicking on it then your target

Ord Ibanna and Bespin can both build two tibanna gas refineries and together generate a large amount of credits. Put Mon Mothma on one of those planets and Leia on the other to give your economy a massive boost.
