people always complain about the price of cleats but the thing about football/soccer is that you don't really need to buy any other equipment except for shinguards. In most other sports, you have to buy some type of equipment, whether it's padding, a racket, a bat, etc. That stuff adds up to a lot more than just one pair of boots. Cleats are more expensive than other types of footwear but those other sports have their own specialized footwear too, and those definitely aren't particularly cheap, either.

i got completely beaned... i bought the x18.1 virtuso pack colorway (with an SR4U code btw) and one week later this comes out... also i don't know if most people had the same problem with the x18.1 but near the ankle area the fuse on the opening of the boot dug into my ankle and gave me blisters. (only on my left my right foot was fine )

Only had minor blisters on my toe (I wear a custom sole which is a bit higher than the normal one and that temporarily caused friction) but never anything serious with my vapor 12 pro... Really solid boot bought for 50 euro at my local outlet. Instead, with my Ace 17.1 on the heel area a plasticky part bonded on the inside for no reason and caused rubbing against my higher part of the heel and that ended with blisters... I had other blister issues with a pair of x 16.3 as well... I think Nike is superior as far as the heel area is concerned, I've never had issues in that area with boots of any level

The shape isn't too far off, and the soleplate is also quite similar. The upper is mesh based rather than synthetic, so it will feel a little softer and a little thinner as well. Overall, I prefer the X 19.1 over the 17.1.

The overall shape isn't too far off. These are wider and definitely have a little more volume to them. The one-piece upper design also changes the way the way they fit slightly. These are definitely the closest thing to those boots though.

Also I hope you see this in time, but in the past several years all my boots have been having super short lifetimes(I'm sure I'm not the the only one, but they all keep failing in the same spot: b/w the upper and stud plate. Recently I've realized that I'm going to have to invest in an ag boot to attempt to preserve my fg/game boots. Right now I'm trying to decide between the Adidas X 19.1 and Mizuno Monarcida II Select Ag. I know that Mizuno is usually more durable, but this boot is really cheap and I can't find much info on it so I don't know how reliable it is. Anyways, it would be a blessing if you could see this and help me out because I really can't afford to go wrong with another boot. Every pair I've gotten in the past 5 years haven't lasted me more than 5 months.
