A lot of people knew of this, but this video was mostly made because I didn't see many other youtubers covering it and I didn't know the move existed until recently because I only played roulette. It was also to let anyone know why the body disfigure move didn't work (You need mahitos R ability for it to work) in brainswap roulette. I don't think the majority of the jjs community knew of the move. I appreciate you all for the support I've been getting recently, thank you so much. 🙏

The Body Disfigure Blade mode is a reference to Yuji & Nanami vs. Mahito... It was used two times, once when Mahito gets Sukuna's first warning, and then when he turns into a big ball of spikes, in which he comments "Man, could've hit them both if they were average sorcerers"

I rewatched that fight (thanks for specifying the moments btw) and I can't say I agree with those being the inspiration for Body Disfigure Blade Var because those are more rigid spikes than sharp, flexible tendrils. The most likely candidate that I've found so far is Nobara vs Mahito, wherein Mahito fires a volley of tendrils at Nobara on two occasions. The first time he uses it bears the most resemblance, since they arc through the air and stab the ground - it's possible that Tze added Mahito spawning them from his chest to skitter around to either simplify the code/animations or make it more useful. I'm not very satisfied with this though. Tze is usually pretty accurate with his references, so I'm wondering if the actual inspiration for this variant could be hidden somewhere in Mahito vs Yuji and Todo.

I was killing the last player in roulette mode when he decided to do hollow purple and 80% of my health was gone then I decided to use my ult and i got infinite void ,body disfigure, cursed strike and body repel like this 2 base move didn't do enough damage in the domain so I decided to use body disfigure but it didn't worked and i died due to it
