I watched a 3 hour and 45 minute long video explaining how Jacob bonked on nothing at 11:33 IIRC the ceiling of the bridge arch below him leaks through a crack in the geometry of the floor over the top of the bridge. Mario can't enter a ceiling space, and a ceiling is denoted by a ceiling polygon and all space above it unless capped by a floor. A crack in the alignment or rounding errors of floor and ceiling polygons leads to pixels of ceiling scattered along the edges of the bridge extending infinitely up that Mario can bonk if he's passing by at the wrong angle and speed. Sorry I'm just really happy that I didn't watch 3 hours and 45 minutes of "SM64's invisible walls explained once and for all" PLUS 40 minutes of "Walls Floors and Ceilings" for nothing. They said I would never be able to apply this knowledge 😅
