​@@somerandy3062 To my knowledge, that's going to be the final product. See, the thing is - MOST games in 'Closed Alpha', you'd have NO way of getting ahold of. Many of them, you can pay for access; but with CoA - You can both pay with your currency or you could go ingame on the Seasonal Realms and buy access with gold (Which is how I did it; and farmed out a pass for two of my friends too). Of course, that doesn't solve the lack of players for PvP / Dungeons; but that's not strictly the purpose of this phase of testing, so that's okay.

I love support specs- the closest we got in retail I think was the totem twisting enhancement shamans in classic wow. Agree it is hard to quantify how much damage you're adding to a party. But certainly everyone enjoys being in that melee group with windfury totem and other stat totems to REALLY max out possible dps. :)

If you played HotW/NS druid you could use the same spec to off tank The Prophet Skeram then swap gear and heal Triple Bugs, it was probably my personal peak WoW enjoyment. You felt like a true Swiss Army knife.

This is exactly my type of class. I've always loved the support style character. I played an Alchemist in RO, a shaman in vanilla WoW, and tons of support style roles in various other MMOs. -Sefiroth

Really interesting class - kinda got retail monk vibes from it with weaving together certain abilities, passive healing from melee attacks and all that. I think this i is a good example of how sth can be relatively simple but still very flavourful and fun. Also, with tri-spec, it seems like a very solid "starter class" that let's you get into the game and explore different roles and playstyles quite easily. Well done!

I was sad when Blizz decided Gladiator Stance wasn't worth the effort so this is yet another way to do it. I agree that it seems like AoE seems pretty sparse. And more warrior-themed stuff is always nice to see. Interesting with the support spec, I was a "support" warrior healer in Rift, and I loved that and would absolutely do it again.

Gladiators are the best as far as Im concerned. The whole idea of Sword and Board dps gives me Legend of Zelda vibes, and the idea of being a showman while fighting just sounds fun. You see in a lot of moves how they turn fight scenes into something a little comedic or SUPER impactful to troop morale depending on how its executed like in the Warcraft movie when there is a Mok'garah between Guldan and the other guy, or in retail the fight between Sylvanus and Saurfang. I wish there was more specs like them.

12:50 remember that when the orb you're carrying stacks up to max stacks you deal and take like 300% increased damage of some large percentage, so that's probably why you're 2 shotting people that are near your level.

Inspiration was really interesting. On the idea of supporting multiple playstyles, it could be that the talents that support a specific style is further down the tree. Another way could be like Frost Death Knights choosing between DW or 2H. But it might not work as well between Shield and 2H. (I also feel like blood healing seems more like a necromancer thing to me, maybe not CoA necro) - Oak

Not to mention another video in this one, but you did bring it up in this one. I think the bloodmage healer for SoA is very doable and they should not just scrap the idea of healer, they just did it very poorly. Retail wow has spells that work on friendly or enemy targets(Penance and Living Flame come to mind) and I think this is where blood mage healing comes to life. I think Dark Liturgy could/should be reworked or replaced with a spell that would target friendly or ally, healing a friendly drains caster hp and adds a ramping effect where it drains you more and heals your target more on repeat casts, and on enemies it could do the same. Play around the concept of taking your hp away to give your allys hp and self healing by damaging enemies. The biggest flaw with this that I could see would be self healing when there are no targets, but they can still very easily just add a basic heal over time. Which I think should still work similarly to the previous spell where you can hot friendlies and dot enemies but the hot doesn't have to take hp from you and the dot can still drain hp for you. I just think they built that spec poorly so far but thematically its there and in game I don't think you can let a ranged dps just sustain like that for balance reasons.

Ive been playing it as purely support... not even attacking cause dps is basically non existent and just keeping Feats up on the tank and Banner/Ballad/Song/Speech on cool down and its been really fun. The Ballads don't stack btw. They overwrite each other

Gladiator with 2 Handed is really fun. 35 right now, owming in PvP, might dare to say needs a nerf. The problem with 2H Glad is that you are very limited where to put your points, even have to put into something you won’t even need just to advance.

I believe that the bloat caused by on-use talents in the talent trees is excessively high. In my opinion, a more effective approach would be to limit the total number of such talents to six, between both the specialization tree and the class tree. To maintain simplicity and streamline the system, a majority of talents should be passive buffs or abilities that enhance existing skills.

Inspiration and Ancestry Barbarians are my two favorite class specs so far. I LOVE a good support role. Interestingly when I run Inspiration, I never dps. All I do is buff / regen / heal.

I really agree with the point about gear. I think satchels and random blues will absolutely KILL the enjoyment of the server if it stays as it is. I feel that even on the classless realm, being flooded by loot isn't very fun, takes away from the journey and the world, makes regular loot drops be and feel worthless, and just create inventory bloat that's annoying to manage.

Turns out it's bugged and changes you to offensive pose on level up, so I didn't even notice it switched me out of defensive pose, making the guardian tanking way less enjoyable. Luckily when I played inspiration in this video we encountered a big dog tank who got it going
