Looks like lots of work, but far better than reaching for a pesticide if you can avoid it! I haven't seen those critters up here yet, thankfully

Very true! Be thankful you haven't. Just another Pro for living in a colder climate.

This is how I am with squash bugs. They are terrible here in northeastern Oklahoma. I've only got 4 good squash this year so far. I did replant in August so hopefully these new ones will do better. Good luck getting the issue resolved. Stay Blessed y'all ☺️

Good luck getting a good squash harvest.

Sorry to hear about your plants. We stopped growing squash all together for that reason. Its easier to by them at the farmers market. Let them deal with the squash bugs. That is one of the down sides of living in Oklahoma I think, and not wanting to spray a bunch of chemicals on our plants.

You should get really long tweezers to grab the bugs like the ones they sell for fish tanks!

Good idea. We will have to look into that.

I had these earlier this year, they nearly stripped my roma's. I just took scissors and cut them up on the stems.

I think we have them under control for now, but wow, that was not fun.

This is oddly satisfying. Also disgusting.

I totally agree. It weirded me out just watching the footage while editing.
