Man some of those duels were unfortunate. I don't like upstart in most antimeta decks too. I've had a lot of success with running 8 copies of DDWL with honest thunder king kycoo caius morphing jar, 3 starlight and book of moons. You use return from the d.d. as your finisher and it gives antimeta an instant win button. MJ and starlight are also great instant win buttons for antimeta

At 21:39 is the play not to summon a breaker m2 to prevent a airbellum direct (which lost the breaker anyway) - If they have a way to summon something higher then breaker at 1900 its losing anyway so no reason not to summon it. I'm pretty sure that would have led to a win.

At 38:22 I thought machina you have to discard monsters totaling 8 or more stars, but he pitched cyber dragon lvl 5 and summoned? Am I missing something?

If you want to cut upstarts and legacy (4 cards) maybe you could include 3 gk spies + descendant, it does increase the monster count and yes it could get awkward drawing the last spy or the descendant but also does giving 3000 lp to your opponent and topdecking a legacy instead of a body in some situations, there is much room for improvement but I think the s/t lineup is really solid so maybe we should look at some high end monsters to replace those four cards, it's a really good starting point and fits really well in the metagame right now

Spies w/ fossil dyna double flip summon is life giving me lemons. Though, Starlight roading the dino's trigger is a fine way to make lemonade with a stardust dragon in trades

@@E3YuGiOh maybe you can just do the removal spells like in the gadget deck instead of the draw spells? Might even prefer triple book first since your stuff is big enough to run over a lot. Especially if you decide to main kycoo. Also synergizes well with the sidedeck NoC you were talking about

Mystic Swordsman is based af. If you wanted to commit to the rota toolbox in the side deck you could also play exiled force in the side. By itself it's mid to bad but if you play a searcher it's probably a lot better. Coth might also be pretty good. Anti-synergy with Banisher but it helps with board presence (which most stun decks have difficulty with, and you can make the cheeky +1 summoning dyna in response to a card that Specials or Summoning TK in response to a card that searches. Like chaining COTH to a debris dragon to summon dyna is mega tempo

Why not try anti meta with a hero beat engine? Sparks will add consistency along with Hero blast and having those allius as beat sticks will allow you to run honest. I would cut the legacy, the upstairs, two trap holes, two breaker , one dyna ,one thunder king and a banisher to include the 3 allius, 3 sparks, 2 honest, stratos, ocean, 2 hero blast. You could also try main decking oppression and take out starlight road.

Cut Upstarts for RotA, a Freed and a Blade Knight/Mystic Lv2 maybe? More bodies/Removal is always useful and the RotA is kind of like a more flexible 4th D.D. Warrior Lady.

i think an anti meta deck can be incredibly powerful with opression. if its not for cyberdragon, it can run it pretty effectively. i know you got dyna but i played a version with both

Never got the Legacy of Yata hype outside of like Kuraz decks. Most of the time it is just Time Seal for yourself.
