Further info: Lay Zhang known as LAY is a Chinese EXO member, singer, rapper, dancer, actor, songwriter, record producer, CEO of his own company has released his new EP “West” on 9/27/2022. The EP features five tracks in total: the prerelease title track “Veil,” “3 Wishes,” “I Don’t Care” and an English-language version of “Veil,” all of which were co-written and co-composed by LAY. Ps. Regarding lead dancer/rapper. Not downgrading Sehun (seh hun) but he’s only lead dancer in his solos and/or isolations. The dancers by order are Kai/lead, Lay/2nd then Sehun/3rd but since Lay’s departure Sehun/2nd. The same applies to rap, Chanyeol/lead, Sehun/2nd unless it’s his solos. Sehun is a classy hip hop dancer. As for Lay, he should have had a lot of exposure in EXO but due to the stupid political conflict between China/communist and South Korea/democratic (mostly China/jealousy) it’s like Lay had to walk on eggshells. A bit of history, China, Mongolia, Japan, Russia, North Korea fought South Korea for its land. It’s a strategic point that’s why the U.S. backs them up.

Chen is the father of two kids now. His third mini album is coming out on 11/14. Once Baekyun is discharged from the military in Feb. 2023, five members will have served. Lay is Chinese so he is not subject to military requirements. That leaves Kai and Sehun who will serve by 2023. They have to serve 1.5 to 2 years.

Also as far as the dating thing I completely agree! It’s mainly Korean “fans” that don’t want their idols to date. It’s such bizarre behavior! Most international fans don’t agree with them either! And don’t even get me started on the hate that Chen received for getting married and starting a family (from k fans of course)… not that they’re all like that but it’s mainly a cultural thing over there. Anyway, I support them because I love them as artists and they happen to be not only extremely talented, but unproblematic! No one is perfect, but these are some really really nice guys we have in this group! Who they decide to be with is up to them! I just want them to be happy and healthy so they can continue to make incredible music! EXO for life!

I discovered EXO through D. O. ‘s K drama’s. I was not into KPOP music before then. Since then I have been struck with Exo. I have never looked back. Watch every reactions, mv’s, dramas, movies, you tube concerts, reality tv’s comebacks etc Watched SUPER M’s concert. Update on Chen he actually has 2 kids, 1 girl and he hasn’t announced what the other one is. Actually we don’t even know what his wife looks like which I’m happy for. Chen came out with a written note to his fans about how he’s met someone that makes him happy and that he’s discovered a wonderful surprise with the pregnancy so he announced he was going to get married (which he did in secret) and took a break from singing and then went to the military. I’m so mad that he isn’t able to be comfortable with his true fans due to the stupid ones that think he should choose celibacy unless it’s with them. Thank god majority of his fans stuck with him through this and are supporting him and his family!❤️❤️

Yesterday I typed “exo chen 2nd child” and channel Korea stated this: Previously, in an interview, Chen said that he wanted to have two children, first a daughter then a son. However, instead of having a pair of a boy and a girl, the second child of Chen is also a baby girl. EXO’s Chen’s wife delivered the baby on January 19, 2022. Hope this helps.

I think this guide is the best guide right now for EXO as group. Still, so much information about the members and a lot happening after 2020 that aren't included. For more information about members, I suggest individual guides by Cesar Oh (they're made around 2020, so they haven't been updated but they're the best for now). Thank u for reacting to EXO. All of them are actors, 6 of them are musical actors. The 1st that you heard is one of their pre-debut song What is Love together with History. Their debut song is Mama. Yeah it's long before they comeback as a whole group. I've been an Exo-l since 2020, pandemic era where updates are all remember when lol. But since Suho came back, everything seems to be OK. Though they have solo activities before, now we get updates more. 2 more members, Kai and Sehun are the last to enlist, maybe next year.

I'm sorry to say : but NOT ALL KPOP can do all rounder like EXO. Okay some of them maybe can sing/rap/dance or can play instrument or acting. But EXO is excellent in another level. For example Chanyeol is EXPERT for MANY INSTRUMENT, he is not just CAN PLAY, but he is an EXPERT in MANY INSTRUMENT and DJ. Another example is D.O. (Kyungsoo). Kyungsoo's acting is just named by critics as "No. 1 Idol-Actor" that include in the list of "200 ACTOR KOREA" that not all idol-actor or actor can get to the list. So this group is ANOTHER LEVEL! YESS THIS IS THE KING OF KPOP 🔥🔥🔥

A bit more on the members leaving- sm (exos company) has a history of treating foreign idols badly, and on top of kris, luhan and tao all having health issues already, exos schedule back then was insaneee like you had an event in one country one day and then something in another country the next day so it wasnt just that they were really overworked they also had to fly and go to alot of places too. Tao really loved being a member from what i could tell like he was in a wheelchair and everything and super sick but he finally quit because his parents told him too because he was honestly doing really badly. Lays not part of SM entertainment anymore but is still part of exo which happens to alot of kpop groups where members will leave to got to a different company once the contract expires but still be a part of the group and release music with them so i wouldnt worry too much about that. Hes one of the bestselling soloists in china so if he wanted to leave exo he could have done it ages ago but he has the members as his lock screen and always talks about them. China and korea political tensions have died down a little bit so he has appeared in some of the recent mvs atleast. Right now theyre releasing a lot of solo music while all the members finish going to the military but we're getting alot more content of them together and seeing them alot more since junmyeon (leader) came back. Right now, theres a lot of rumours of an exo comeback so we'll just have to see what happens. Exo were the first to have this kind of concept so it was weird at the time and they used to get made fun of a lot on talk shows but now so many new and popular kpop groups have full on storylines and universes and when its bought up on korean shows exo are usually bought up as the people who did it first. The entire superpower concept in literally everything, music videos, teasers, vcrs and even the way the lighting and special effects is done in concerts. People say that concept has been planned since 1976 and the next total eclipse is going to be on exos 12th anniversary and exo started with 12 members. EXO be the only KPOP group that still be releasing contents, be it solo's, drama's, OST 🎵, partaking in overseas concerts for their solo/ brand ambassador gigs etc. All this while the group is on hiatus. exo is the group that OPENED the kpop’s most successful and popular generation which is called 3rd gen of kpop with their mega success ( 3rd gen has exo bts blackpink twice etc) at one point they were the leaders and the most popular 3rd gen group before their mandatory military services started. bc of the military thing they are unable to release music as a full group or even contents as a full group so their popularity has softened but theyre STILL the most well known popular kpop group ever created!!

But it's always sad to see this clip got reacted on, because Kyungsoo was labeled as satansoo in this clip, it was merely an inside joke within everyone in the fandom, but later it got circulated and for a new fan it gave a bad impression. LAY has left his agency, but he still in EXO.. before he left, he also participate in their recent special comeback called 'Don't Fight the Feeling'.. I think u might love the whole album 😅 anyway, Lay has his own company called 'Chromosome Entertainment'.. he has his own trainees now.. he keeps doing better & better... he's known for his diligence.. and yeah, he did Krump.. he makes Krump hot in China and broke the stereotypes against idol that said idol is just good-looking, good in singing & doing routine.. but Lay proved that idol also can be a pro dancer, who can battle in a street dance competition.. he deserved his title as an ambassador of street dance of China.. and I'm proud of him 😊 I love watching u ranting on how fans can be disrespectful towards the idols' personal life during Baekhyun's part.. bcause soon after is Chen's part.. 😅😅 u see, nowadays while some fans are matured enough to support their idols private life (even though they're broken inside 🤣🤣), there's still this tiny percent of immature 'so-called' fans who can't accept that lol.. Chen has gone through that.. many still support him, but there are also some ppl who didn't support him anymore and/or demanded him to leave the group and I'm glad he didn't.. I just need the idols to sometimes do what they want, not what the fans' want.. because, again, if u mature enough, u know how much u need ur own space.. ❤️

Standard military service is 18 months. If they perform social services en lieu of traditional military service, enlistment is about 22 months.

about 10:20, they are having a full group comeback next spring! baekhyun (the only member currently in the military) is discharged on early february, while sehun and kai (only ones who havent served yet) have to enlist by the end of 2023, so during the months between baek's release and sekai's enlistment theyre planning on making at least one comeback! the members themselves have confirmed that theyre just waiting for baekhyun now :) as far as i know, it's unclear whether lay will be in it but it seems more possible this time than it has seemed in years

them knowig how to play instruments is up to them not the company... like Suho always wanted to learn how to play guitar and was only able to learn during his hiatus because the company rather have him focus on other activities. the companies usually give them acting lessons besides singing and dancing/rapping and maybe modeling (how to pose).. so the credits for them playing so many instruments is clompletely on them (and their parents)

No. There are lots of tensions still between China and Japan as well. Japan invaded China prior to and during WWII and killed a lot of people. Those resentments don't just disappear in 60 years.
