@@muhdaimanjamaluddin7068 Yeah but that's all she does. And some of her buffs are quite short. When her def debuff is down she just looks pretty and can't contribute in any meaningful way. She doesn't really have anything that differentiates her from other supports which do a lot more comparatively and have survivability, even at C or UC rarities. Hans, Chen Gong, Mozart, Leonidas, Shakespeare, etc. She's not useless, but she's more or less outclassed even for her own rarity. And her charm chance is just too low to be useful. She's okay in her niche, definitely a usable servant. But there are few cases I'd use her over someone else imo. You could buff her charm chances or give her a buff to charm success rate but even then she would basically be stheno. Mata hari needs a complete rework to work as a servant.

Honestly, I think this was more of an excuse for DW to do away with the dinosaur idea of mental debuff cleansing. I mean I don't mind Kojio getting one more buff to his name, but I do think Mata Hari needed something to help her keep up again. Even my girl Charlotte could have been in a better place if they guaranteed the Arts up on her third skill, but keep the Crit amp and NP Damage a hard 50/50 like Eknidu's Transformation.

So Jing Ke gets a buff that you are really only ever going to use to deal extra damage on less than a 1/3 of all Rider servants in the game, and only 8 Berserker servants, and she can stack 10% def down when attacking with quick cards for 3 turns but it’s capped out at a maximum of 5 times, and the skill is on a 5 turn cooldown…Sasaki meanwhile gets an often very helpful self debuff cleanse and, while not quite as universally useful as defense down, a still very nice 10% quick resistance down when attacking with quick cards for 3 turns but it’s not capped at all…and the skill is only on a 4-turn cooldown?

Seriously Sanson has the makings of a tank: Max HP of 8309 (6th highest among Bronze rarity Servants), 3000 HP heal and a debuff clear, abysmal attack stat of 5456 at level 65. If DW added the aforementioned buffs to Charles we would have gotten a good Anti Evil/Humanoid tanky Assassin.

If I’m being honest of the 3 he was gonna get the most mileage out of one since he basically only had 2 skills since it was useless beforehand. I doubt there’d be anything they could really do to buff Mata Hari to make her super useful. And even then it’d probably take more than one buff to actually get results

@@amari7782 That's a pretty dumb justification for a buff. Buffing a servant that is already the most usable of his peers purely because he is the only one you would normally use is stupid. Buffs are best for servants that aren't already good. Does this even need to be explained? As for a Mata Hari buff, you *can* make her better because she already has something she is good at. She has 3 ways of reducing enemy defense, and two ways of charming them. What I would like is a battery on her first skill. Even better, add a debuff success buff to help her land her debuffs land more consistently. She doesn't need to be a tanky servant that does a lot of damage. Being able to stall two turns, help the team deal a lot of damage, and then die is far from useless.

Wat I mean when I talk about buffing useful servant is the fact that a lot of people beg for Mata Hari to get a buff but really how many of those people are actually gonna use her? 25% 50%? Who knows. Most people meme kojiro into oblivion anyway so him getting buffed works out more for the player base because the people who meme on Kojiro are still gonna keep using him. With Mata Hari sure she has some good tools for dmg but given how the game is nowadays even with a battery age could still fall behind since she’s just a pop in use her skills and she dies she most likely won’t really see much use outside of specific situations since most CQs tend to either drag out for quite awhile so she’s probably dead by that point or you have ways to win without needing a heavy def down since you can one shot the enemy already.

The point is that they have so much value in that one turn that their short lifespan is worth it. There are plenty of situations where you will want a big damage increase for one turn. That is a 60% damage bonus. Yeah, I know. There are a ton of higher rarity servants that are preferable over her. The issue with that logic, however, is that it applies to Kojirou more than it does to her.

@@Ottobean in this case not necessarily since yes you can run other higher rarity servants but in the case of Kojiro more new players and super F2p player like green and people like that are gonna get more out of Kojiro than Mata Hari because with this buff he has a quick buff on his np and he has quick res down which means that if you really wanna put the investment into him he’s basically becomes the 3/4th best quick assassin in the game and with the new CQ format which is grail front which wants you to use low rarity servants to have better spacing you can just run him as your assassin and have tons of ce soace and you can loop this skill into oblivion and make it so he applies 20-40% quick res down per atk.
