The speed at which the effect fades in/out in SLOW mode can be adjusted by following these steps: 1) Unplug the power jack 2) Hold down the footswitch 3) While holding down the footswitch, plug in the power jack (LED will blink) 4) Move the mode switch to the preferred setting ...see the manual for more. 😉

Bought one last year. Use it constantly. Brilliant tool for both practicing and composing. It’s fantastic!

They just added a clone to the Headrush and excited to try it a bit more. Especially for intros and outros…similar to how a steady organ chord is heart droning.

Another way to think about it is to use the Electro-Harmonix B9/C9/Mel9/Bass9, and then treat the Freeze as a sustain pedal like you would use on an organ/keyboard/synth, this sort of thing was my "dream" back when I realized I was just not very good at playing keyboards and decided to focus more on learning guitar, but still like those keyboard sounds!

Check out the TC Electronic Infinite Sample Sustainer. Does this - plus a LOT more for less money.

Trying the clone on the headrush update. Getting hang of it, but could see it used for intro/outros live or to hold that last note of a solo to keep that sound during the transition if you’re short a guitarist or sing.

I currently have a chorus pedal that feeds a L/R signal into a stereo delay pedal, then onto a stereo reverb pedal -- I take it I would need to insert into my pedal chain _before_ those pedals, to retain my stereo output, yes?

What is your sweet spot volume level? (Love this pedal but if it’s too loud it can sound really “metallic” and with too low it can give the feeling of bad feedback sound)
@kirkp_nextguitar Жыл бұрын
The volume level is exactly what you played. If you want to freeze something at a low volume, play it that way.

Hi is this pedal a viable alternative to sustainiac pickups?
@QuikdethDeviantart Жыл бұрын
not really. ebow is the only thing i know that’s close to sustainiacs and they are awkward to handle.

Your playing style reminds me of Vinnie Moore. Just ordered one of these. Really interesting about the dream you had too.

What about using this with line level devices such as keyboards? *** I like the idea of this pedal for creating sustained samples for a sampler.
@CRP24262 жыл бұрын
No Problem, it can handle Bass, Guitars, Keyboards, Electric Violin, etc.... There are newer options to this pedal.

if I have an octave pedal on when I freeze the note & then turn the octave off will this pedal still play the effect sound? I split my signal into guitar and bass amps & looking at this for the bass section

Before I get one is there anyway to make the freeze more ambient sounding like the function of the Boss Me80 freeze? This pedal seems to drone on like bag pipes compared to the ME80.
@mudpockets2 ай бұрын
Put a delay that has built in modulation behind the Freeze. Set the delay for maximum delay time with repeats on the edge of runaway feedback. Set the delay wet volume as loud as you can get it without causing noticeable rhythmic interference with your playing. If you want a softer attack, set the delay wet level higher and if you want more articulation, set the wet level lower. You could also place a reverb with a long dwell time after the Freeze and feed it into the delay. Set the modulation on the delay pedal for a slow rate if it’s adjustable. This setup will give you a rich and ever changing blanket of sound.
