Will the rest of the world used to be like this… spanaway speed way in the late 80’s early 90s while I was growing up in Washington was where i spent most Friday and Saturday nights they had figure 8 racing and trailer races demo derby’s all the great racing fun fireworks… but like you guys talked about with the development encroaching on the race tracks it’s hard to keep em open that’s exactly what killed spanaway speed way. 16:00 the ride was at Icon Park. It was the tallest drop tower in the world I believe. The guy that died was a 15 year old kid that was 375 pounds. He was way too big to be safely riding because the harness was in it's minimum locked position. The ride ops should have turned him away but ride ops are adamant to do that due to potentially being hit with a discrimination claim.

Such a great podcast Dave is the best dude. I grew up in South Australia. I’m terrified of open water. We have a huge great white shark population. I ride MTB’s and a little homie I know, his friend got killed by a shark 6 months ago.
