I was homeless in 2020 and had a mental breakdown. The past two years I’ve been working as a special educator. I’m proud of myself and I like many aspects of my job but this work is so hard and I’m still not quite happy. I don’t know what to do. You’re so inspiring and I’m just trying to remind myself how far I’ve come and be grateful. But it’s hard sometimes. I’m starting to address my bipolar now, but I still feel lost, and question what I’m capable of. I just feel stuck. Just trying to remind myself of how far I’ve come and that I’m not done growing yet

Homelessness is something I don’t think I’ve fully recovered from… I always have to tell myself that what that did to my psyche alone changed me forever . Give yourself grace. Be patient with yourself . Be kind to yourself . It’s ok not to be ok all the time . Happiness will come . DON’T YOU DARE GIVE UP !!! 😘😘😘

I’m sorry to hear that. I’ve definitely been there & if not for my kids, I’m not sure I would’ve had the will to have the ‘Find them to live for’... but you have to live for yourself. Everyone is the best at something. I just naturally don’t have that drive to find my passion. I’m a nurse & paramedic. I work, do the kids (13 & 17 so pretty much grown) & keep my house upright. I’ll be thinking of you!! I know you’ll find it. Maybe we’ll both find it our “it” soon. This video gives me hope 💕
