Just the title of story 2 made me giggle. It's hilarious. And story 1 just shows the entitlement and arrogance of some people. The idea that someone should just accept poor treatment and not fight back? That goes against basic survival instincts, honestly. Don't need "intelligence" or some other qualifier.

1,000 years? Given the infrastructure they would have needed to build (how big was that island anyway?) that's not a bad time interval. If the humans wrote the rules of war for the galactic council, good luck in finding a loophole to exploit against humans.
@YoLo-bb2vc3 ай бұрын
the elven survivors: "about that 'Island' it is actually a continent known for having a weird effect on the mind making those who live there dangerously crazy but smarter than the average being, we call it the continent of "Merica" and yes us elves do fear it for it is an unnatural place were magic does not and can not exist so it is no surprise humanity fled there. we were aware of a civilization that morphed from a simple small village to a spawling civilization in under 400 years yet we had no idea how advanced it was, this was all done in a single millennium and so this is why we fear that continent it is evil and unnatural. most of all they have a strange taste for the black liquid that oozes out of the ground occasionally and any nation that discovers this sticky stuff is sadly not a nation shortly afterwards." FYI if humanity was at say late medieval, early renaissance level upon the time of there conquest this would literally be the humans role playing America! as America went from a bunch of bumfucks into the scariest most deranged mother fuckers in the world with weapons that can fuck up entire nations in a blink of an eye all in 400 years! now imagine humanity forsaking religion and embracing the totality of an atheist dogma built around revenge and science! the shear horror of the violent creativity and madness born from that could propel a civilization in the throws of the renaissance era to become a super powerful nightmare civ in 1000 years as proven by America who in 400 years went from a provincial power almost beaten by England as the truth is America was saved by the French blockade of Halifax preventing the reinforcements from getting out of Halifax bay in nova scotia! had the French not done so America would most definitely still be talking the queens English not American English. why did the French do this? they actually supported the American uprising seeing that at the time England was an rival of France and in doing this they knew what would happen. all in all taking into account the idealism of most magical kingdoms being late medieval / early renaissance civilizations it is entirely possible within a span of 1000 years humanity no longer preoccupied by magic would resolve to use the more practical aspects and thus advanced faster than there enemies who clearly are complacent and arrogant........ again America went from being a late renaissance colony into the worlds deadliest super power in 400 years. with 1000 years its easily possible for an angry race of creative monsters (which humans are) to go from late medieval to the atomic era in fact thinking on it 1200 to 1600 was the medieval era, 1600 to 1780 was the renaissance era, 1780 to 1915 was the industrial era and 1915 to 1946 was the WW1 and WW2 era's this states that from 1200 AD to 1946 AD mankind went from iron swords and bows to cans of pure sun thrown on to cities in 754 years! so yes fucking hell yes it is possible lol
