Luther was popular too but All 4 One pretty much felt like it was played at every wedding reception. I actually saw All 4 One years ago at a fair and they let people in the crowd come up to try to sing I Swear with them on stage, they were super cool to everyone.

You can't encapsulate 90s R&B much more than All 4 One and Boyz II Men. Made up of vocalists Jamie Jones, Delious Kennedy, Alfred Nevarez, and Tony Borowiak, they were one of the best harmony groups of that decade. Ironically, this song (released in 1994) was a cover of a COUNTRY song by John Michael Montgomery. (Both versions hit #1 on various charts.) As for All 4 One, their only other Top 10 hits were "I Can Love You Like That", which should definitely be your next one, and "So Much In Love".

It is a concert series that lasts all summer and there is no admission fee, only donations. My daughter is super excited to see them and I am also going along. Good to see they are still performing even if is on a smaller scale. I'm looking forward to hear how they sound and will edit this comment with an update. EDIT: The band was great. Very professional and told some great stories including how the band formed and how one of the band members competed against them in a talent contest before they were well known and only had 3 band members at the time. They were so impressed by him that they kept in touch and later invited him to be a member of the band. They were great with the audience, even shaking hands with many of them. OMG, I used to love this song so much and still do. I believe it came out right as I was graduating from junior high so it must have been in 1994. I remember for my graduation trip we went on a class trip to Hershey Park and they had one of those song booths you could pay to record yourself singing and get a cassette tape (yes, there were CD's back then but tapes were still common at that time). Anyway, my friend and I choose to sing this song because it was our favorite though she got shy on me and I ended up singing most of it alone with her only joining for the chorus, lol. Fun memories, though now I'm sad I actually lost that tape. 😅 Great choice for an R&B song! 👍 ...Though, honestly the top group for me will always be Boyz II Men when it comes to guys singing R&B. "4 Seasons Of Loneliness" is one of their sorta sad songs but I think you'd enjoy it despite that and I don't think it gets recommended enough, along with their cover of "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday." Oh, and they (B2M) have a song that's perfect for a mother's day reaction appropriately called "A Song for Mama" (if I'm remembering correctly it was for a soundtrack, I think the movie was called "Soul Food") that you guys should definitely write down to check out then.

Me and two of my friends used to love listening and singing i swear from All for one. We couldn't sing as good as All for one obviously but we didn't care.

I love both versions of this song. Also love the version of this song that they did with John Michael Montgomery. Still crazy that people call this a cover when they were both sent the song at the same time and this just came out first.
