Accounts get banned, and new accounts pop up with premiums to just cheat again till the next ban wave... Banning the accounts doesn't remove the players, they just change their HWID, use a VPN and play on a new account and buy a premium using regional pricing. And that's in a game with server replays and an anti-cheat.

There is absolutely no chance they accidentally stumbled across a bunch of inactive tanks. They were usually the first to get to the spawn, didn't deviate from going to the spawn, and even passed active enemies to go to the spawns. WG needs to check replays on blatant rig players like this and issue permanent bans rather than temp bans from auto-detection.

As a player who played thousands of battles in late night/early morning hours due to my working hours, this matchmaking is clearly rigged. This does not happen on any of the EU servers, even between 2-6am -_- Of course there will be situations with one, two, even three afks in the middle of the night, but never majority of the team. WG should just permaban every account that was involved in those games. There are literally dozens of 3rd party boosting websites that provides rigging games like this so they can sell easy 3 marks, campaign missions and stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if it was involving some sort of illegal mods to abuse the matchmaker to get so many botted accounts into one game with their "customer". I don't understand one thing. This game is SO old, and WG still didn't figured out a system to simply check all 10k+ damage games that happen if they are legit or not, just by filtering them by movements of the tanks. Nowadays majority of 10k games happen during rigged games, because thats the easiest way to boost someone to 3rd mark quickly.

I have some epic games here and there. Usually it's luck. I get the right amount of stupid on my team to let me shine more and the right amount of stupid on the enemy team to make my pushes and aggression easier. What I really love is when someone decides to knock down trees, while I'm watching, and then try to scream at me about how I'm hacking. Had it happen the other day last week. Even told the guy to watch the replay himself because he refused to believe he knocked down trees, despite it happening. It amazes me how people still can't grasp the simple fact that when you knock down trees people can see it, and it doesn't have to be in the communication range either. You can see a good bit away outside of that too.

WG can stop cheating in World of Tanks but they don't want to. As I have explained earlier, I used to report a lot of bots, I sent replays to WG's customer support, I used the in-game reporting system and nothing happened. I reported 44% WR tomato driving Obj.279e with 46% WR and WG didn't see anything wrong with that. Sure, the most difficult missions can be done by someone with 44% average wins, although with the Obj.279e they couldn't even find the left mouse button to fire. WG does not care and anyone playing the game with these bots and cheaters is a fool.

Overall winrate can be pretty deceiving. I know players who are usually really good at the game, occasionally decide to jump into their T8 premium lights and just run them into the enemy all day to farm credits. Similarly, I've seen players with 3 marks of excellence, some 10k games on a tank, just stand in one spot and not do anything the entire game. Maybe they're just having a bad day.

I will occasionally blind shot likely locations and bushes. I've blind killed TDs before, no cheating necessary. You can see if your shot hit a tank by it disappearing instead of impacting the ground.

Back in the days, blind shooting was expensive and you had to manage your amount of ammo kind of... but we did it. Even with arty. To counter arti was (is still) fun. I admit I blindshoot now much MUCH more often, there is a point in the game you don't care anymore about credits and ammo cost. Every (blind) shot not taken is possible less damage. It is more common now to check positons with a left click and on top you know positions, so you expect there someone.

Just last week I caught a player cheating on one of the EU servers during the day. He was using an illegal mod which allowed him to see me and my team mates while we were unspotted. I checked the replay twice just to be sure that those were not lucky blind shots, and it became obvious that he did in fact cheat. I filed a ticket with my replay attached and the next day just received an automated response that told me not to worry as their filtering system works just fine. The problem is that as a competitive game it only loses its very essence if they let these slide. Slippery slope that could get out of control if no reprehension shown.

Without a pre-game login check to look for illegal modes, cheating will always be present. The only way to seriously combat cheating is to have NO mod's and "checksum" each player as they log in. I have played online games in the past, where this was the system used and cheating was not an issue. When you left the game, you were logged right out of the system, not like WoT where you can leave the game, then rejoin 2 to 3 hrs later without having to log back in. Also, if you were AFK for more than 30 to 40 min they game system AUTOMATICALLY logged you off. These games also had "In Game Moderators" who could "kick" players from the game if their play was suspect, and their account suspended whilst their game play was investigated. Wargaming could easily instigate these sorts of protocols into WoT, WoWS, and WoWP to stop cheating, the fact they have not/will not do so puts them under the umbrella of suspicion as to how much they are actually involved in the supply of the illegal mod' packs to enable cheating to take place.

Even I can come up with 5+ methods to stop cheaters - damage vs AFK tanks that didn't move is subtracted at the end - if more than 5 AFK players in a battle it is interrupted - if a player is AFK in a battle he cannot queue for battles 15 minutes, if reaccurs the time increases significantly. (3 hours, 1 day, even 1 week if AFk regularly abandoning games) and many many more, all of these methods takes less a day to code.

There are tons of sites where you pay someone to grind for you. I guess they have multiple stolen accounts (there is also a market for that) and either multiple pc's or people who join at the same time. Hm, and maybe if they do not get paid they post the replays in order to get the customer banned. Even though it would mean that the payment system they use can be exploited in this way. And people in the comments say WG doesn't even ban the accounts. So it must be other reason for why they post the replays.

My clan(TBW) initially qualified for the M60 in the first CW event. Unfortunately when WG changed how the points were allocated(something to do with making players in a clan who hadn't participated suddenly eligible) my clan lost out. Then one week before the next CW event started almost everyone in TBW bailed to higher ranked clans to have a better chance to get tanks. It should be incredibly easy to spot cheaters in WG - diligence, forensics, cheat triggers etc. If people know that a consequence of cheating is losing EVERYTHING and there is a not small chance of being caught then they would be far less likely to do it.

There was obviously nothing done. He says it himself, none of the players who earned the free tank were penalized when there were obviously at least a couple blatant cheaters.

I had a number of games recently where I've been curb stomped, nothing new for me, but in them I was being blind fired while undetected and not even hiding in a bush. Not just once or twice but deliberately until destroyed and nobody was near me and no enemy light tanks, like an ELC, was camping close by. I watched at least 7 other tanks killed this way by the same two players. reported it to WG but I saw the same two players on my team the next day where they did it again to the other side. Again, reported it, but doubt anything came of it.

Been going on for years. Asia server some nights its blatantly obvious, not every game, but enough that you know there's something going on. We have clans set up that are well known for it, Join, pay the money, and suddenly your stats get amazingly better. I don't know that any of them have been banned, I know their officers are still the same as they have been. Maybe they are smart enough to keep their main accounts out of it, but even so, if I know who they are, surely WG SHOULD know.

AFK tanks goes as a normal. The main reason i left, I am not that good, and having 90% go AFK makes the game hard to learn. AFK is the norm now.

Most of the previous week I've had loss after loss. My team just camped at the back, kept getting hit without taken evasive actions, resulting in some not even causing any damage. They weren't bots and by the end of each game, their team had most of their players still in the game. I'm getting so frustrated that this continues to happen. As for Marks Of Excellence, it should be individual player based, not grouped. I'm an average player but new players just won't even get one mark.

WG doesn't give much sh*ts about cheats. One of their side income stream is a cheat engine, after all. Probably a good chunk of their income, considering they can charge whatever they want and people will pay.

I started playing WOT when there were only three nations, I'm a random player, over the years I had fun grinding my tanks, nowadays with all the modern tanks and power creep it's no longer fun for random players, three weeks ago I played and was bottom tier 70% of the time, when I was top tier, I was picked off by scout s across the map, I played 50 matches that night, 45 of them were a one sided massacre with me getting maybe a kill, the other 30% were victories that were one sided and the enemy was dead before I could fire a shot, after that I uninstalled the game, This game is not for random players, not anymore, it's now pay or play every single day of your life to win.

Cheaters tend to have "Fat wallets" and credit cards linked to WG premium shop. WG says they ban cheaters, but do they really? Or are they banning old inactive accounts? Nobody know because no one has ever known a person who got banned 🤔. So with NO consequences for cheating, why stop. Rock on Tankers. 🤘😎

No players were banned from top 2100 on NA server either. I submitted a Manoeuvers replay for illegal mod use in one particular instance and WG responded assuring me they are confident with the accuracy of their automated in-game detection systems. 🤔

I support their action. WG had this coming, it might not last but it's so damn satisfying when it's happened. Normally, I'm against cheating in online game, but for a company that allowed cheating officially in form of P2W model deserved this.

WG isn't doing anything from my perspective, in fact they make things worse for the community by focusing only what new premiums they release to wreck the game with. There are mods currently being used that allow one to spot the enemy team from the start (I've tested this theory and when you remain unspotted one tank or 2 will routinely direct hit you even if you've waited then relocated. Soon as you go to take a shot you are instantly hit by the same players(s) yet never spotted. I tested this in game by being in a weird location rather than the obvious ones. Soon as you try to do anything that same player hits you while remaining cloaked.

I think th big thing is not immediately banning them, so they dont know how much they can get away with, and instead getting caught in a ban wave. Obfuscation n such.

I had a game where most of the teams didn't fire a single shell, everyone was platooned and in clans, (same on each side but mixed) It was a tier 8 game.. i got 6 kills and 7k demage, tm8 rammed me out infront of the one guy on the other team who fired and i picked him appart during fight with team, then when he died everyone started playing normal.. (played tvp100) I felt sick and cheatef after that.

It's good to see you've come around from denying cheating was an issue. It was and is one of the biggest issues with the game (it and mm). That doesn't mean most cheat, but there are a fair number that do, and little is done against them.

I think that it’s disgraceful that quickybaby doesn’t gift the tank to that guy that lost out. Also he didn’t even show a picture of the tank so how are we meant to know which tank he is talking about. And also I just feel bad for that guy. On the NA server there is LITERALLY a clan called HACK. Any so many of their players including their officers and even CLAN LEADER are known to rig games and WG does nothing about them.... It's so unreal QB...

I play CW on XB series X and cheating for marks is happening here. The Engesa EE-T1 Osório P2 was about 2 weeks old and there are 3 people with at least 2 marks.
