@zilipoper Sure I have, but in this case it was a band that was completely new to me. I wouldn't have known where to begin to find them, but thankfully, the algorithm made a recommendation I liked instead of suggesting the usual suspects (that I can't stand) like some grifter trying to sell me supplements or some bro telling me how to clean my room after I make him a sammich. If you haven't noticed, the algorithm has been awful for a year or so.

Several years ago you guys were booked to play a small bar in Salisbury NB but your van broke down so my friend and I went to NS to pick you up! So some say there isn't much of a market for this type of music. I don't know, I don't quite agree. Now adays things are a bit different, and that difference can really strike a note with this new generation. Everything seems to be cyclical. Especially styles of music. Things eventually come full circle but with a twist. Sortof like... the more things change the more they stay the same. They just get...rediscovered. My daughter (16 yrs) even when she was like 13 years old, her and her friend's age group were picking up things that were quite obscure. For a while there, they were all into theatre songs, but sung like a rock song. It was so strange to me. For instance, the movie Heathers? That went broadway and those songs became soooo popular with that age group. They started liking these "rock" bands that sounded like broadway music. Very strange but interesting.
