I got an idea for a new 4-man scramble-like game. I want to call it participation trophy scramble, but I'll let y'all workshop the name for it. All 4 members drive, and then the team picks whose drive/ball to take. The owner of the taken shot/ball then sits out for the rest of the hole or until everyone participates in the hole, because he has satisfied the need to participate in the hole. This will continue to the 2nd stoke where reminder 3 team members take their shot, the chosen one then sits out. Do this again with 2 members on stoke 3. On the 4th stoke you would only have one member left since the other 3 already participated. If you have to take a 5th shot all members can come back since everyone has participated and you play with 4 members if you need to take any additional stokes. I think this would make for a heavy strategy based game, where you might not always want to take the best ball so you can have your better player(s) play approach shots and around/on the green.
@mxtrav Жыл бұрын
That would create some interesting strategy to consider. Say your best chipper nails a drive, do you take his drive but miss out on his chipping?
