Format suggestion for 4v4+ videos. This idea is to speed up the match, implement strategy and reward good shots. Most of these large scrambles will always be a tie. This will be a fun challenge that will make separating each team a little more interesting. I will use a 5v5 for this example. First you rank your players 1-5. This will be the order in which ALL shots are played. If you take 1st players shot you are awarded 10 points but that decision needs to be made at the conclusion of their shot. If you decide to not take 1st and want 2nd to attempt, then their shot is worth 8 points and -2 for each player down to the 5th which would only be worth 2 points. The same point system is used for all shots from tee to green. The twist : if the 1st ranked players shot is used, the next player will then be moved to the 1st position and they will be first to attempt the next shot. The previous 1st ranked player now moves all the way back to 5th. If you decided to take the 2nd players shot, then that 2nd ranked player moves to the 5th spot and the 1st player stays at 1. Essentially each persons shot that is used they move to the back of the rotation. If a team is attempting a bogey then the shots will then go into negative. 1st player is -2 if made and -2 for each position as it goes. A point bonus or multiplier can be implemented for birdies, Eagles, Hole in one. Will make for a fun and challenging video. You can even flirt with the idea of a team captain that does not play but they pick the order and they decide if a shot is used or the next player need to attempt. Gives them the ability to be ahead of the group in the fairway or green to make the judgement. Good luck!

An idea for an alternate version of the 6 v 6 For each team, once you take a players shot you can’t take another shot of theirs until you’ve taken a shot of everyone else on the team. Could bring an element of strategy into the match (ie playing to people’s strengths, looking at what hole is next, who is the last to hit with more pressure etc). Plus could also assist speeding up play if time is ever an issue
