The thing with Jinjer is that there is no "weak link" in the band. They only have one guitar player and one bass player, so they share the role as a "hybrid" and fill each other out. The drummer is absolutely insanely musical. And I don't think I need to say anything about the vocals. But yeah, their compositions, the arrangements, the use of dynamics... It's just too much. I absolutely love this band.

Unleash the Archers is amazing. I love that you love them so much as they are one of my favorites. Amazing musicians all around. I don't watch reactions to them because they are more a constant than a variable. Jinjer is my all time favorite, but that is because they are a constant variable. It's Jinjer, no doubt, but guess where the hell this is gonna go? No clue, time after time.

My suggestions for KoE album: - I Speak Astronomy (OMV) - Just Another (OMV) - Words of Wisdom (OMV or live at Atlas) - Prologue + Beggars' Dance (both are short, no video, only studio tracks. It's an intro and an outro for the album with the same lyrics but with very different and unexpected music. It'd be fun to react to both in one video).

King Of Everything recommendations: Guitar playthrough for Captain Clock, I Speak Astronomy or Sit Stay Roll Over - all phenomenal! I Speak Astronomy OMV or Official Live (OMV is a must-see). You could pair one of these with the guitar playthrough for a double feature. Under the Dome drum playthrough - also phenomenal! Prologue + Beggars’ Dance Official Audio double feature. These are the album intro & outro tracks. Both are very short, with all clean vocals & the same lyrics as each other, formed by taking a line from each of the other tracks on the album. Both tracks are musically interesting. Words of Wisdom Official Live.

Thanks for your reaction to this. Jinjer is greater than the sum of its parts, but the parts are each great by themselves. Of the tracks off this album my favourites are: 'Just Another', 'I Speak Astronomy', and 'Words of Wisdom' you've already done 'Pisces' and 'Sit Stay Roll Over' so, I won't mention those.

This is the only time I've seen her have the eyeballs drawn on the eyelids with makeup. Once the camera operator saw it he kept trying to catch her closing her eyes. This is one of the best performances of theirs on video. I Speak Astronomy is definitely a good one on this album. Words of Wisdom has a good live video. There are also two songs which act as "caps" for the album which are very unique when it comes to style and approach. Beggars Dance and Prologue have the same lyrics but are played in very different styles. Neither is what you would expect from a metal band. The lyrics are bits taken from every other song on the album. They are both short and there is no official video for them just a view of the album cover and the audio so when reacted to they are usually taken together.

Personal overall Fav song is “Words of Wisdom”, but “I Speak Astronomy” is what Jinjer refers to as their “Masterpiece” & every member has spoke of being most proud of this song. Jinjer DOES NOT have a single below expectation song in their catalog, so you could just flip a coin and see where it lands 😂 Rock on brother 😎👊🏼👊🏼🤘🏼

"there are 2 genres of music: (1) music i like , (2) music i don't like" perfectly said. for the rest of this album, deffo going with Just Another , I Speak Astronomy , Words of Wisdom , and a double-feature of Prologue + Beggar's Dance (same lyrics but in completely different styles ; each line is a line taken from one of the other songs .... as bookends for an album, fairly neat concept).

This is one of my favorite Jinjer concerts. It's only about a 30 minute set, but I've probably watched it 50 times, lol. You've already knocked out 3 songs off this album, now. Sit Stay Rollover and Captain Clock are two of the heaviest songs on the album, along with Dip A Sail. Recommendations I would consider must listens: I Speak Astronomy omv (arguably the best song on the album, and Tati and Eugene's favorite song on the album) Just Another omv Words of Wisdom official live (from same show as Who Is Gonna Be The One)

I concur with I speak Astronomy being a must see, and Just Another/ Words of Wisdom both being bangers, but for a fun reaction (and a sneak peak into their future diversity of influences) a double reaction to the bookends of the album: Prologue and Beggar's Dance. They are each quite short, share the same lyrics (compiling lyrics from the other songs on the album). It might surprise you!

JINJER - 'I Speak Astronomy' LIVE @ Hellfest From Home This is the benchmark live performance of this King of Everything track. It has the current lineup playing the track and the sound quality is excellent....every bit as good as the Live In Kiev and Live In Melbourne material, if not better. Great review. You'll find the band only gets more cohesive and better as time goes along. The addition of Vlad adds so much texture to the unit. And Tati's voice gets stronger with each album. Keep on keeping on. 🤘

Seems like the consensus recommendations are spot on. Words of Wisdom live is fun. :) An example of a fun performance of a serious song is the bootleg of No Hoard If Value live in Paris "feat unicorn" heehee. Tati is tipsy the crowd is crazy and there's a cute girl in a unicorn onesie - Tati tries to perform seriously but by the end even Vlad is laughing.

I can only agree with everyone who has suggested Just Another for the King of Everything album. Beggar's Dance would also be interesting. If you'd go back to the Cloud Factory album, I'd love to see a reaction to When Two Empires Collide (specifically this live version because I prefer it with one guitarist) because I there's hardly any reactions to that song so far.
