The theory is that since the video is mainly about her backstory, the lamb is the innocence she had before becoming a brutal noxian soldier, that she finally gave up that Innocence to become the wolf she is now. Also the golden glow of the fetus/Mel reminds me of the same glow we see at the finale, so maybe Mel does have powers or something and she may survive

Wow this video really spoke to me. When I watch cinematics or videos like these, I always feel so stupid when I start tearing up and crying at them, like "It's just a league video" right ? Seeing you two have such a visceral and real reaction to it, I feel validated in my feelings finally

I think a lot of people miss her being pregnant because we don't generally think about pregnant women on the battlefield. I noticed immediately but only because I have been pregnant. Her hands weren't positioned to focus on her WOUND they were holding her WOMB. But I do think her fighting while visibly pregnant (which doesn't usually start until around 5 months) adds so much CONTEXT to the situation. To effectively fight while pregnant a woman would have needed to be experienced beforehand, speaking to a long training history as a fighter/warrior by Ambessa. But to include pregnant women on the battlefield also speaks of how dire a fight could be. Pregnant women are not a first line of defense, they are the last. Pregnant women have a *so much* to fight for but they have more to *live* for. Future generations of a people rely on their survival. Wherever this was, the stakes were decimation.

I didnt notice till like the 4th watch. Not because i didnt think of a pregnant woman being on the battlefield mind you. Pregnancy and motherhood is pretty central for Ambessa. I missed it because, depending on your brightness setting, the scenes with her pregnant belly can be very dark and hard to spot, and the scenes where her belly are brightly visible show her having a sixpack hard enough to grind cheddar on.

@ It is very subtle but can still be noticed as soon as they show her. Noticing the belly is kind of a separate issue (to me) than how people interpret it. Brains tend to process a lot subconsciously. A few reactors noticed her belly but attribute it to her armor which is a more natural place for the brain to go than pregnancy given the mass of dead people on that beach.

ive been watching every single reaction for this song for weeks, and i grew increasingly sad cause no one seemed to feel the emotion this illicits even a bit. Everyone goes like "woah, that's cool!" and that was about it. Seeing you here, essentially mirroring my own reaction and feeling so deeply, feels so validating! I'm not insane!

Its crazy to think that Mel could be using her golden powers all the time to keep Embessa alive and in arcane she also uses golden colors to cover up the noxus painting and at the end she also uses her powers when jinx rocket hit the tower. With Xerath being pure Arcane and Embessa having connections to Pantheon we might have a demigod and a crazy season2 story.

You know what, I really like your reactions. I also cried when I watched it for the fist time but for different reasons, different interpretation. And then I cried again hearing yours.. I guess that is what is amazing about art it can touch people in different ways and that is what we are looking for when we watch people's reactions to the stuff we liked. I know you can't really do that with all the media you watch but some channels watch some content and they are like "Dam boy that looks gud", I think you guys have what it takes to grow big as a reaction channel. I wish you the best homie, and if you want a hint to keep all this traffic that comes from Arcane/LOL content, do reactions to Anime, its usually the same public, I would gladly watch you guys reacting to some bangers like Death Note or Hunter x Hunter.

So to answer to questions. From what the league community thinks of this. This music video focuses on a Young Ambessa, near the edge of death, she is visited by the twin spirits, Kindred. Also known as the lamb and the wolf. It is the wolf who comes up to her, we know its wolf because of its shining spirit eyes. In the next scene we have Ambessa spawn in the "noxian afterlife" with the goal of walking up to the lamb portion of kindred. The next scene of her surrounded by people in a sandy region hints that she might have been from Shurima, the lamb she holds is mostly representing her innocence and how conflict has slowly destroyed the peaceful life she knew. The next scene in between shows wolf testing Ambessa by having her fight for the right to live. Despite all the wounds she takes she does not stop trying to fight. The people we see here are most likely other people who have also been near deaths door and made the choice to keep fighting earning the moniker "chosen of the wolf." The skins promoted are simply for the skinline and in the context of lore, they would be made up by the wolf to test her. She is shown visions of the future as well, it shows her sitting on a throne of sorts, this is a future that is promised to her if she accepts the way of the wolf. She finally reaches Kindred, but because of differences in how Kindred is worshipped/seen in Noxus the Lamb we seen looks very different than the lamb we know. In noxian culture they do not worship the lamb at all, they only worship the wolf. To this end lambs only purpose is to direct you to the wolf. She does not even have her normal bow and arrow. Wolf is the one who will reap her if she fails his test. But she reaches lamb who offers her the choice of fulling accepting the wolf. Ambessa grabs the wolf head artifact and in doing so fully embraces the path of the wolf. The child is confirmed to be Mel apparently, but I don't know how you would know that exactly without seeing the leaks for season 2 already. Last thing, the people in the desert look like Xeraths people. People with blue skin in Runeterra are usually that way because they are overcharged on arcane magic. But thats a theory, a very plausible one as we have card art for Xeraths followers and they look pretty dang close. Otherwise, thats the best I can sum it up. Many parts of this music video could be interpreted in several ways so we wont understand everything until Season 2 of arcane comes out.

I loved the destruction of the Lamb turning into the Wolf pendant that the Kindred gives her. And her getting sad when she sees that statue of herself with the baby lamb. It felt like she’s having to sacrifice the chance at the peaceful death of Lamb to follow the way of Wolf. She’s sad over the loss but she’s determined and she won’t go back. This is for a skinline so I don’t know how relevant the champions used in the video are to the Arcane story. Kindred is from everywhere, Swain and Katarina are Noxian but Pantheon is from Targon. That whole ritual with the costumed people felt very Targonian tribal. I wonder if she was from one of the tribes of Mount Targon initially. It might explain the gold accents her and Mel have. They aren’t typical of Noxus but could track with some of the Targonian tribes. I feel like so many pieces will fall into place with season 2. Because Fortiche did this video as well as doing Arcane so we know that they love to LIE to us with the teasers and trailers but clever lies lol.
