A lot of their songs do have similar subject matter to this (my favorite of these being 21 gun salute) and they also have a few heavier songs such as cycles, which the singer said is about how he grew up in a broken home and his parents didn’t treat him well, so it still has that power and emotion

I just saw them live a couple months ago with Ekoh, Word Alive, and From Ashes to New, and felt like CYB should have been a bigger part of the set. Their singer is INSANE, and you FEEL the band and how invested they are in their music, they dont just get on stage and play - you see the emotion in how they play and interact. 21 Gun Salute, for sure. Mirrors w/Ekoh is amazing too. Hell, the whole album kicks ass - I bought it vinyl at the show! Heavy rotation at my house.

I would love to see you guys react to more Dayseeker! Their album Dark Sun is so great (you've already heard Neon Grave) and it's mostly about Rory's father passing, so hugely emotional. A few reaction ideas if you ever do! -"Midnight Eternal" is an intro song to their album title track "Dark Sun". -"Dreamstate" just got a new music video. -"Parallel" is a really unique song about imagining his dad alive and happy in a parallel universe. It also fades into "Afterglow" which is about the birth of his daughter in the same year".
