What an end!" And what a journey season two has been. It was all tied together so well at the end and I loved all of it - even the painful bits! I really loved season one and thought that it would be hard to beat it. Still they managed to! We are left with some closure (or are we?), and some questions answered. But with even more questions to understand and more obstacles to tackle. They really are in a pickle and I cannot wait to see how they are going to get out of this??

If I have to just pick one aspect that stands out in this season that is best I think it is how they added some fantastic supporting characters that we truly care about without taking away a thing from Sam & Dean!

Picking one primary aspect, I thoroughly enjoyed Sam and the special children and how that all came to a head. Starting with Max of course in season one, but really picking up full force in season 2.

Dean loves his Sammy so much. He can't live without him. But the line I love the most is when Sam says 'You're my big brother. There's nothing I wouldn't do for you'. :)

This episode is incredible! So glad you were able to take it all in! It's a lot. So, just an FYI, John is 100% dead, he can't come back because the boys burned his body in what becomes known as a "hunter's funeral". It's done specifically to hunters so that they won't return as spirits because their bones are already burned. So, because he has nothing to tie him to the earthly realm any more he has "moved on", much as the spirit of Molly did at the end of "Roadkill". So, they don't really have answers to where his spirit has moved on to, but it's not in hell anymore which is the main thing. ❤ There is so much pain for me and my fellow Dean girls in this one. 😭😭 He's so completely lost and destroyed when Sam is dead, and the scene of him talking to him on the bed makes me cry every time. Everything in this episode is so well-paced and the 42 minutes just fly by. Congrats on getting to the end of S2!! 😍 Let me know if you want me to get you a good copy of the S2 gag reel. It's so flipping good and wow it hurt! 😭❤ Thank you for clarifying about John, I didn't think about the fact that they burned his body even though I knew. Maybe it was wishful thinking on my part. I can for sure see why they did the hunters funeral, an angry hunter spirit is not something I would like to deal with! 😫 I don't know if I am a Dean or Sam girl but wowser my heart broke! I hate seeing Dean lose the most important person to him and the pain he goes through as well as blaming himself. I could barley edit the scene at the bed because it was so hard to watch it - again! This felt like 2 minutes and 2 hours at the same time - amazing. Thank you for watching the whole of season two with me! 🥰 I would love a copy!! Even though I haven't watched the gag reels from season one yet I am hoping to do it soon as I will have time off work! 😍 I look forward to the full journey of S3 too!

Loved the emotion you showed with Carry On My Wayward Son right at the start, even though this was the second time it had been used, this was the start of an awesome and unique tidbit of the show! As usual you really had got and shared the full on experience that so many of us had! This finale was not quite the cliffhanger that season one was, but the amount of story they jam-packed in it and then the so many question for whats to come made it quite perfect!

Carry On My Wayward Son now has two meanings to me. I have heard the song before the show and me and my best friend usually say it's "our" song, and now to have a connection to this woah. 😭This truly felt like the end of one part of the story and the start of another in the best way. I'm so happy we shared the same experience. ❤ It wasn't as much of a cliffhanger so it gave me a bit of a breather which I was grateful for haha. I still have so many unanswered questions!

And we’re done with season 2! 😊 Fun fact: the guy playing the yellow eyed demon couldn’t see with those yellow eyed contacts in and Jensen ackles smashed his elbow so hard on the tombstone that to this day if he bangs it awkwardly it causes him pain. This season finalé was epic, it had everything, drama heartbreak even John Winchester really capped off part of the story which started in episode one, can’t wait to see the rest 😊

At one of the comic cons, where Supernatural drew thousands of people, the band, Kansas opened their panel with Carry On My Wayward Son.. even offered Jensen a mic to go sing along..sadly, he declined the invite. Dean's lower lid guy-liner in this one is epic. I hope you do the gag reel.

FIRST TO COMMENT! This episode was absolutely crazy and there are a lot more like this episodes to come! The ending was totally badass. Seeing John as a spirit was shocking, I honestly didn't see it coming! But at least Yellow eyes is gone, whooo-ohhhh! But poor Dean, with the whole demon deal. I knew exactly what possibly would happen in season 3 from the cliff-hanger here. I can't wait to see your reaction to season 3. For the reason why they killed john off, is because, Jeffery Dean Morgan (John's actor) was working between this and Grey's anatomy season 2, he was basically over-schedule so he asked the writers of supernatural to kill john so he can have an easier schedule since he was so busy between these two tv series. Great reaction, also I've started the second book of my fallen series.

HECK YEAH!! Thank you for being first 🥰 It's a wild ride this one, and I cannot wait to see the rest. This ending was SO good. I didn't fully expect to see John which was interesting! No more Yellow-Eyes woop! The demon deal broke me, I am still mad at him for doing that even though I understand why he did it 😭I'm excited to watch the whole of season 3 I didn't know that was the reason! I love this season finale. Not my favorite, but it's high up there. There are so many more great finales to come. Jensen talking to his dead brother in the beginning, is so heartbreaking. He's my favorite actor on the show and my favorite character and my favorite person to look at😊 I also really like the actor who played the yellow eyed demon, he was great. Creepy and funny. And Ellen and Bobby are icing on the cake. I won't miss Ash, I was never a Roadhouse fan. Couldn't stand Ash or Jo. But Ellen is magnificent. There are amazing season 3 episodes to come. Season 4 is my favorite season overall, so we're getting closer.

It was such a good finale! I obviously only have one to compare it to but I really liked it. The start of it broke me in to little pieces. This show has so many amazing actors which is a huge reason to why all the moments hits so hard. I love Bobby and Ellen too, I liked Ash a lot as well and Jo feels like a character that could be an interesting mix. I can't wait for season four!

I know you're farther along, so you know that John didn't come back. Basically, hell opened up so John's soul was able to escape...then he helped the boys kill the demon and his soul moved on to Heaven.

so this episode was rough, but it really is the beginning of a truly wild chain of events. i can’t wait to see you react to season 3! you can see the tone of the series start to be set. there are handfuls of comedy gold nuggets sprinkled in to level out the sadness like always, but here they really get into a groove 😅☺️❤

I’ve loved your reactions! 🥰 From here forward, it’s ok to watch the intro to the 1st episode and the last episode of each season.. it’s the intro’s to the rest of the episodes you gotta skip.. each seasons finale has such a special intro that has become everyone in the fandom hold dear, so don’t be afraid to watch each season finale intro, as it’s just beautiful to see.. season 3 is considerably shorter due to the writer’s strike that was happening at the time of filming it.. just something to keep in mind as you watch season 3.. PLEASE please watch the gag reels! There are moments in future episodes, throughout the entire series, that you won’t understand unless you watch the gag reels.. lots of inside jokes from the gag reels alone and they’re absolutely hilarious and you really get to see just how wonderful Jared and Jensen are behind the scenes.. Supernatural is known for having the best gag reels of any show out there, and they’re not just 5 mins long.. I truly hope you consider adding them at the end of each season! So while I was watching this show there were 3 other shows I knew I couldn't miss. So this is the effect of being so passionate about this show. You made it to the end of season 2 and prepare yourself for a very well done season 3. It happened to be the strike shortened season but it's awesome. Only John can come back in an episode not say a word but he gets closure with his boys because "yellow eyes" is dead
