I really can’t seem to understand the problem with them, it was fun know that you had to hit the headshot snipe or push immediately and aggressively to get a kill, and if you had them you could carry movement instead of shields which is necessary on this big map

having all 5 made you practically invincible. even having 3 made you broken. the healing rate got you back to full shield way too quickly and if you just boxed urself in for a few seconds you easily got at least half ur shield back. basically if you don't one shot ur screwed. shooting from a distance was never worth it because by time you got to them they had all there shield back,its also why snipers are so damm good since there the only weapon that allows you to stay distant. but even then you HAVE to headshot. you simply couldn't out damage the shield. to anyone who didn't have a medallion it was unfair where as now there actually a risk vs reward. and you can still win even without a medaliion.) it might have been fun when you had them but when you don't its not. at that point you might as wel give up because any semi decent player wouldn't lose with all 5. also you still don't need to carry minis. since the medallions still serves as minis. it also just makes shield potions actually have a use now

@@bennettslavin3975 it's not really something to disagree on. before i actually built but i found out midway through one fight that I could just box myself for q few seconds and get all that shield back. we were both evenly matched so we just kept trading shots but because of the shield regen they couldn't do enough damage to me. hell even simply missing a pump shot was enough for me to get back all that damage from the first shot hit. it completely gets rid of the risk at that point

the Hyper SMG isnt as crazy as people think, in terms of power both the Hyper and Thunder Burst are the same but the difference between both are constantly spraying with the Hyper makes the bloom worse but it does have 15/16/17/18/19/20 structure damage another issue though is gold+, instead of it being 16/17/18 it’s 16/16/17 Epic-Mythic while the Thunder is 28/29 instead of 27/28 Epic-Legendary and finally, in terms of the Striker AR vs the Hyper SMG in terms of TTB (time to break for structures) they’re actually similar with the Striker being 0.74/0.74/0.617/0.617/0.617/0.617 and the Hyper being 0.75/0.75/0.666/0.666/0.583/0.583 for wood structures which isnt a big difference at all

I really like this new update, it makes the medallion in this season feel fun and not too overpowered. These medallions will still be good and worthy of being "mythics". Movement is amazing. Was great at launch with a couple of Settings edited. Yea you can go to options and edit your settings to help your move better. But now it's a bit to fast. Oh well, no complaints I'll just EDIT them again in the OPTIONS section instead of forcing epic to undo their progress because I can't build a city anymore. 😂

I think the nerf was needed. BUT I do think they went the wrong direction with it. I feel like even having a single one should still heal you up to 100. Being able to use a medallion to shield a teammate up to 100 after they got revived or rebooted or during fights when they got hit definitely promoted teamplay a lot. I think they should've focused more on the cooldown. Should've been like 8-10 seconds without getting damaged. This way it gives a fighting chance to the player that doesn't have it to be on a level playing field while also allowing the carrier to shield up to full after a fight.

Ok enough about the patches, what is that sniper loadout? Drum mag decreases reload speed but increases magazine size, and speed mag increases reload speed. Having a fast reload speed on sniper rifles is better if you are in a fight with another sniper. Heck, ive never seen a customized sniper loadout that even USED drum mag.

People here saying that Epic went too far. Guys. If you got all 5 medallions, you can really only die to sniper headshots. You’d just have to play the stalling game and you’d be back up to fight at almost full health. This nerf was quite balanced. And the circle for carrying one was very necessary as it was so hard to find a person with just one medallion. The medallions are still pretty good, but not game breaking.

They could have just heavily buffed the shield breaker emps, so the medallions had a true counter. That would have made more sense. Giving people a chance against peeps with them while still keeping the fun and prestige of the medallions as they were.

If you make something cool like the medallions, it should always have a proper counter. Not anything too easily found, but like you've gotta plot and plan your loadout for coming across someone with 5 medallions. Otherwise it's just chaos and kinda boring. Let us strategise...this is supposed to be war after all lolz
