They Didn't Want Me Exploring This Forbidden Area Of Bangkok

It's been a while, but I am back doing what I love. I love just exploring random areas, and i got to tell you, Bangkok's little known outlying areas are a hidden treasure. Today I take you to an area I have passed several times and really wanted to explore. We start off at the Royal Thai Naval Museum for a quick tour. Next I take you to a public part (or so I thought) of the Royal Thai Naval Academy. The military personnel definiltey did not want me to go exploring there! Not deterred by the set back, I continue on to another marine themed destination. After that, I find a nice secluded Khlong (river) side community where I marvel at the elevated walkways that actually have rails (a rarity in Thailand). Having walked over 10km through the province of Samut Prakan, I was happy to go back into civilization for a quick Thai street food meal. Much to my surprise I stumbled into an awesome hidden gem at the very end of my day of exploring. Join me for another day of exploration and randomness here in the country of Thailand.

Good to see you back Serg! That M1 is actually a replica that they built by welding up a tube chassis and covering it in foam to shape the body and lay fiberglass over it. They show it on the tv behind it when the loop eventually gets to the build pictures. Still a pretty impressive car. The E46 is all carbon fiber from the doors forward. They let me open the doors when it was in the shop behind the cafe last year, they were incredibly light. The shop manager is super nice too.

Thank god that’s not a real M1 then. I cried a little inside when I saw the wide body kit. I’ve seen “car enthusiasts” put liberty walk kits on F40’s and other rare cars. For many, money does not equal good taste. This replica was really cool though. I’ve seen the green E36 at a show before. Love it.

I was denied admittance to the Naval museum in Chonburi, it was an older ship, but they let Thais and Chinese tourists in. Will check out that BKK Naval museum next time we visit. There is a great Air Force Museum in northern BKK that I think was free. It's right off the BTS. Good to see you back.

Welcome back sir! Yet another video of you getting lost but im used to this theme 😂. Anyways, it's almost Spring time here in US and I'm enjoying the weather except for the allergies galore. I grew up in Malaysia and I always complained about the hot and humid it is but these days I hide inside the AC room whenever I return home for a visit. My sister who loves hot weather complained how hot it has gotten even for her, so yea. I'm convinced the climate has experienced more drastic swings in temperature. Which one do you prefer, 43C with 20% humidity in sizzling Las Vegas OR 37C with 75% humidity in Bangkok? 😉 Cheers!

I think I definitely prefer the dry heat. Although I mainly grew up in California, I live in Texas for a year before I moved here to Thailand. I remember in the summertime it hit 114°, that was just ridiculous. I’m glad you enjoyed this video, more coming soon.

If you’re gonna do less than a month, you cannot do an Airbnb. You’ll have to do a hotel. They’re just way too many factors to recommend anything. It’s so damn hot that it wouldn’t really matter. I typically wear black shirts because they don’t show sweat as much, but un extremely hot days. Black is the worst color to be wearing.
