I work as a dispatch supervisor for a hvac company, and there's nothing that irritates me more than when they disrespect your time. Well, that and the entitlement from some people. I laughed when you said no time to go to the supply house. It's the story of my life. It's amazing how people think you can fit a warehouse full of parts in your van lol. Keep up the great work.

It never fails, some folks think all you need is a few minutes and all the parts that will be needed are in the service vehicle. I have to agree, when people confirm a time, they need to be within 5 minutes late or anytime early. These trucks don't run on cheese you know ! Especially when its a lease the people need to be dependable. Apparently water there is expensive, no one has green lawns. I'd get her a new thermostat too mainly because that could be justified with the board as well as her push button concerns. I agree with the idea of taking care of your management companies on some of the little things, they have a big foot print of properties and can keep WW HVAC busy when other sources might be slow. Not only that, the more you do for them and the longer, the more familiar you are with the properties and way less "Chuck in the pickup truck" experiences.

Dealing with customers is the hardest part of running a business. Lots of different personalities to deal with and people are typically pretty frustrated when their AC or heat is torn up. I have noticed that people seem to be more agitated than ever before around me with the economy the way it is now. I have been hung up on in the middle of conversations with people when they hear I can't make it to them right then and there or if they don't like my price to show up they just hang up. Never been price shopped so much and never been treated like trash so much. It has been an interesting year for me. I would still rather work for myself than someone else though. Thanks for the video and stay safe out there.

@@WWHVAC I am. Deleted my old channel along with all of my videos to get rid of the custom URL with my trail name it. Started a new channel with a different email after about 7 months off. I have been posting some videos, but not much. I only look at KZbin now as a free advertising source. Not sure if I will monetize again even if I hit the requirements. Haven't decided. Don't know what I really want to do with the channel either.

No real respect for you, your time, your business, or your personal safety with the mail dumped on the stairs as a trip hazard, and full of excuses as well. You went the extra mile in more ways than one dealing with such people.
@amirharris473Ай бұрын
Needs CB
@dlyall26Ай бұрын
I hate to say, but respect goes a long way. To tell someone you are going to be there between 2 to 5 you as a company thinks nobody has anything better to do then sit and wait all day. The time needs to be a little closer together like I can be there between 1 and 2 or 2 and 3, but to give yourself a cushion of that much time, then expect them to be all good with that with no problem if we have to wait then you should as well. It's not only your business. A lot of businesses are getting snooty with their time, so expect what you give.
@dlyall26Ай бұрын
You said between 2 to 5, so go back and apologize. I'm sitting here listening to you tell them you told her 3 na she said 3 not you.
@WWHVACАй бұрын
A 3-hour service window doesn't mean I'll be waiting in your driveway for 3 hours. I scheduled the appointment with the customer the day before. On the day of service, we send an email and text reminder with the appointment time. When I'm 30 minutes away, you'll receive a text or call to let you know I'm on my way.
@dlyall26Ай бұрын
@WWHVAC they shouldn't have to wait for 3 hours either, but it's alright it's your business .

Another youtube creator calls and confirms before he goes. Steve Lav. You need to do the same. Easily with our folks. You need to be on time, but they dont. Damn shame.
@aunttriciaatticАй бұрын
I don't like it. You are dealing with elderly people you had a 3-hour window which you should have been communicating with the people with. Let them know when you were about through and what time that would be and then how much time it will take you to get to their house. People are not considerate on the road you are the fifth person back in the turn lane You aren waiting on the turn light to change green and then the first car in line just sits there after the light turns green. You don't care if you leave people in the cold where is the empathy.
@StonedYoda84Ай бұрын
You get a window because previous calls can run longer.. empathy? Where is her empathy for the extra customer that could have had their call ran in the time it took her to be late for her appointment? If you have a 3 hr window that YOU requested, you should be home for that entire window
