Qutb is one of those thinkers who understand the all encompassing nature of Islam and it’s revolutionary aspects. Unfortunately, many Muslims who try to claim his legacy think way too small and simplistic, seeing salvation like a video game where you win points through good deeds. No one truly understands how essential concepts like justice are for Islam.

Qutb lived in my home state of Colorado. Like him or not, agree with him or not, you've got to respect the man and his calibre. This was not a man of casual criticism of the West; he had depth. We would not be discussing him if his ideas were shallow or ill-devised. I'm a Western secularist Christian, and while I don't like him, I have to give this man his due.

The epilog of Qutb is the demonstration that Power doesn't tolerate its radical expressions too, but only warm spirits or half-interpretations that minimally put it into a risk.

An amazing interview . The first and only time i had heard of Sayyid Qutb , may Allah keep him , was a film by Adam Curtis called ' The Power of Nightmares' . But this was such a personal look into the life and personality of the martyr , as well as the progress through his life and beliefs and holy martrydom . May Allah bless you and the speaker Dr Salahi .

With all due respect my brother I will not read his books he has about 170 and ovations the worst thing inside of the dean is innovations I read his books before this is the reason why I will never read them again.. on top of that all of the major scholars refuting him so why would I read his books.. moreover I rather safeguard myself than to fall into some misguidance the prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam said, beware of every newly invented matter inside of the religion because every newly invented matter inside of the religion leads astray and every stray leads to the fire... So without the respect my brother I would never ever read his books again now that I've learned the dean a little bit and a lot gave me a little bit of guidance I will not turn away from that guidance by spoiling my heart with something that is not part of the dean.... I asked lots of God you and him and me and to keep us got it on a straight path and to protect us from evil.... He's the one that says that rebelling against the leader is permissible and that the Quran is not the speech of Allah rather it is created I see refuge from him and from those followers of him....

May Allah have mercy on Sayyid Qutb, Praise be to Allah for facilitating the means for all those landmarks mentioned by Sayyid Qutb in his book "Milestones" to be embodied in a group of people under the name “The Proclaimers of the truth” (جماعة الصادعون بالحق), to educate themselves according to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger, peace be upon him, With clear aims, to revive Islam anew, to invite humanity to it, and remove them from the worship of humans to the worship of Allah alone, the Almighty. The group has numerous publications and articles online, and it also has the book “Explanations of Milestones” (شروح كتاب معالم في الطريق) which is considered the practical and educational guide for the book “Milestones” in which the group of “The Proclaimers of the Truth” was raised under the guidance of Sayyid Qutb's disciple, Sheikh Mustafa Kamel Muhammad, may Allah have mercy on him.

The method of gradualism has no evidence in Shariah, means it was not adopted by Prophet (saw). Rather it was the message which was revealed gradually. So, whenever hukum in the form of Quranic verse oc in the form of Hadith was revealed, instantly the Prophet (saw) implemented in letter and spirit. The Concept of gradualism is a pragmatic notion adopted by the ones who subject the idea of Islam to the condition or reality. Islam as though came to change the reality and not the vive versa. The second, error which the speaker committed and then referred to Syed Qhtub (ra) was the He tried to fix the matter with military means, but after some time He came to conclusion that it is not the better and possible way to turn the tied in favour of Islam with the argument the even it is not the method of Prophet (saw) On the contrary, he stated that, He believes that Prophet (saw) worked in the wider society to bring the revolution. It righ that Prophet (saw) worked mould the public opinion, bit it is not that He (saw) only targeted the public opinion rather He (saw) went to the people of power power and the baya of Uqba is clear witness to that l.
