I watched a video that they did something similar to this except with orange peels in a forest. They had much better success. I took ten years to start to show the positive results. But the results were amazing

I watched that video as well. It was an amazing success, unfortunately, some jealous individuals put a stop to adding more orange peel to the forest floor.

They just over did it- Less egg shells probably would have worked

You're right. It's a fraud.

I could imagine the judicious use of egg shells could possibly be a good idea in places where coastal erosion currently seems unstoppable and huge swathes are being relentlessly eroded from earth cliffs. In some of these areas there may have been very little sandy beach even at low tide. Of course, I realise the risk of acidification but it could stop the loss of homes currently falling into the sea from the now much receded cliff-tops.

I think this is fake. They don't tell you where and when, they don't sound that familiar with science. Click bait.

I remember that, in the 60s , Norway or Sweden did a similar thing.

Just put car tires all over, to stop the beach erosion. Re cycle those tires..😮😊

Why introduce a foreign object? Why not use river rock like has been done on CA beaches. It works!

I don't know what the well meaning folks thought would happen to calcium carbonate powder when it becomes wet or what they expected that could resist tidal erosion.

You mustn't mess with Mother Nature! Man thinks they can control things that nature is doing. How can it be unnatural if it's nature that's doing it?
