I love, so much, that they got Arlo to be the sock puppet at the beginning. Nice little homage to his craft. And yeah, I was surprised how good his voice acting was as well.

My one complaint about his voicework would be that he always comes off as conniving, even when giving his all-cards-on-table from-his-heart speech I wouldn't have trusted it in any real scenario due to the way his voice expressed it kind of odd; took me out of the immersion

I really liked this game a lot. I just wished there was more gameplay of the Unfriendly Neighborhood section of the game. That aspect of the story had more of the horror element, which was a nice change of pace, but too short to really make an impact.

This game is unique in art style but the gameplay feels very reminiscent of Resident Evil (Biohazard), with the enemies needing a bunch of shots and then ragdolling, the puzzle-like inventory, the smoker voice protagonist...and the letter gun kinda looked like a ray gun from Call of Duty... interesting amalgamation of ideas.

I was watching this on the big screen tv in my den while doing laundry, and my grandmother came down and started watching you with me, and said “I wish I could play games like this again, my fingers just can’t do all the buttons…though that young man looks like he needs some sleep!” so idk man maybe get some rest? my grandma said to tell you lol

I played through this game twice the week it came out but I need to play more. There are still some secrets I found, but did not solve, and I don't want to look them up. I really loved that they reworked the demo sewer levels so I didn't have to play the exact same part in the full game. I do agree that the unfriendly neighborhood should have been much longer. I wish it had been a whole level like all the other zones. It is funny to me that Insym is so brazen that he broke sequence by getting the Rolodexer first. I think the devs should have made it impossible to loop that first Norman to force players to retrieve the wrench first. Maybe that Normal could attack but go back right to banging on the door instead of pursuing the player. I think it is good to make players use wrench-only for a bit. I was totally bummed that Insym never found the mini gun. That gun was hella fun against that final mutant boss.

The scenes with Pearl and Gobletta, and the puppers almost got me teary-eyed. I really wasn't expecting those sweet, wholesome moments but I am so happy they were there. ;~;

Actually!! There was a case in the Soviet Union when a guy who tested parashute wasn't able to open it because of malfunction, and he fell from more than a mile high in a pile of snow and survived without any serious injury

I was SO shocked to see Brendan Blaber in the credits for "Casting and Voice Direction" Not surprised that that's what he did for the game, just surprised to see Brendan Blaber at all! To anyone unaware, Brendan Blaber is also a youtuber that goes by "JelloApocalypse". Very entertaining guy and I always love seeing him.

*SPOILERS* i love how this game sorta had a good ending to it, you help the puppets put on a good show despite you get fired for it at the end but you still feel content about how everything ended. idk why but something in this game just makes me feel comforted

I think "the war" is very specifically meant to recall Vietnam, which was taking place around the time when Sesame Street was first airing. There was a lot of hate leveled at the real show at that time as well, especially in the southern US, where it was banned in Alabama for its integrated cast, but also for its "far left" messaging.

Very surprised to not see this comment already. There is a whole section of MFN Insym never found somehow. Where you get a whole new weapon, which is what most people fight the final boss with. The pirate cove area. Great video though! But please go back and finish that section you never found. You'll love it. Also you should definitely check out the new Neighorhorde survival mode, it's fantastic!

I agree with Insym nitpick in this game. A lot of backtracking but for me, there's another nitpick that i wish the devs could have done is more design puppets. And also, add a little bit of horror like the last part in the game Everything else about this game is great. The gameplay mechanics is amazing, no bugs or glitch, it's all good

I think this game was okay, but it got kinda repetitive after a little bit. The puppets stopped being scary after the first few encounters and just became nuisances. I wish they would’ve done more with the unfriendly neighborhood, the fact that it only shows up at the very end of the game for a few minutes definitely ruins it a bit for me. The unfriendly neighborhood is the only part of the game I’d really call horror.
