Batman Arkham Trilogy got Patched? Kind of. While an Arkham Asylum update did happen, the developer issued a statement addressing issues over Arkham Knight. My Thoughts on how honestly the Collection handles on Nintendo.

There’s only so much they can fix. I honestly don’t believe this game will hit a solid 30 and the lock ups will still be there. Knight should’ve been saved for Switch 2 and the first two should’ve been a collection alone. Switch cannot run Knight and it never should’ve been done.

I almost got the trilogy on the switch then I got a computer and steam had all 4 games on sale with the season pass for origins for under 30 dollars for Black Friday and couldn’t pass it up and now I don’t care about the switch versions with as many issues that knight and the minor issues the others had.

​@@TheAmazingSpiderGuy_99 idk, the game runs WAY better with just a slight overclock boost so maybe it's possible to optimize the game even more, at least to fix the crashes and the batmobile sections. It's still an incredibly ambitious port for the little switch, I still think that Arkham Origins would have been better since this game is still locked on the PS3/X360.

The only way they can justify the price tag (even while on sale for 40$) is to get Arkham knight running well. They kinda shot themselves in the foot by including an “unplayable” game in their trilogy collection. That said if they can get the patch to work without the stutters… I’d be all in to pay 40$ for this game.

I got the batman Arkham collection for my birthday yesterday and it is good so far. I did notice the when looking through the batman Arkham Knight DLC suits they are a little pixelated. I hope they make a patch for that.

Its the rain Physics that hurt Arkham Knight on the Switch for sure. The switch wasnt designed to have constant rain falling in Arkham Knights World.Supposedly a Switch 2 is in the works at Nintendo that can handle rain physics like this.Also Im hearing it will have much better graphical fidelity then the OG Switch.Regardless everytime a PS4 or 5 game gets ported to switch they reduce the graphics drastically and even take away some features of that game so u are basically playing a bootleg instead of an Offical Made Game in a sense.

I’m stuck in Feb 2024, last 2 riddler trophies are completely unobtainable in any way.. You can see them, you just can’t get em. Invisible walls have never been so frustrating.. but I can’t even find a single update online just to complete the game. Terribly disappointing as someone who spends my relax time enjoying a game to satisfied completion. Game was fun, but I’m simply left unsatisfied with an uncertainty about whether I can even finish.. and no clear communication from creators. It drives me frickin bananas

My issue right now is one of the trophies on Miagani Island (the one on the rail near the botanical gardens) I cannot get inside, no grappling hook, no gliding, no Batmobile, NOTHING! Always giving me a very annoying invisible wall. What can i do?

Same here and even if you get in the car you cannot use the grapple gun to get ot there are invisible walls inside the car as well😢

My biggest issues with the switch version is the riddler challenges. Not the puzzle but the ones that are hidden in certain areas. The ones you walk up to & pick up. Their are two it won't let me pick up. I can walk right up to the riddler trophy . Then it will glitch out, Batman cape starts acting weird. Flapping up like someone is standing behind Batman holding his cape up. It looks like someone that's penguin high is invisible & is trying to press Batman cape above they're head. Then it acts like something is in the way. When theirs nothing there. No enemies, no door, no wall. Nothing between me & the trophy. But I can still walk up to the trophy & it just won't let me pick it up.

I mean they did it with Doom, Witcher 3, Dying Light, Crisis Core remake, Hogward Legacy... it's possible to fix Arkham Knight in some capacities, at least for the crashes and the batmobile sequences. The game runs smoothly with just a little bit of overclocking so it's not completely impossible with some optimization.

I can forgive freezes, low fps and unloading textures but I have a problem with getting Riddler's Trophy in monorail on Miagani Island. There is invisible wall inside of monorail and I can't get trophy through that. That's getting my nerves seriously. Hope it will be fixed soon.

Absolute miracles have been performed for games to play well on Switch. Dying Light, Witcher 3, Woflenstien 2, even the Crysis trilogy is impressive. So can they fix it? Unless the way they coded it won't let them, yes. WILL they? Considering profits from sales are plummeting already? Who knows.

I mean, as someone who was mostly forced to play mobile game ripoffs until a few years ago when I got a switch, this is like top tier gaming, im more than happy to sit through crashes and sputters and lagspikes if it means I get to play the arkham games. Obviously its unfortunate that Knight looks and plays like trash but its not something that bothers me too much.

It's the driving I hate in Knight, Asylum and City play fine but the Frame Rate gets so bad in Knight during driving, it might work better in handheld mode I'm not sure

Arkham Asylum was the only one updated, some stuttering fixed but not all. Also, no other game in this collection has been uodated. Better than nothing? Nope, i'm lucky to have bought this for 32€, but very sad for those who bought full price...at least a patch will come for real

Asylum and City play fine, Knight, when using the Batmobile at least the frame rates drop and I got some lag, the sections where you're on foot aren't too bad though

I had my save file get corrupted it wouldn't save anymore and every time I die or turned off the game would bring me back to that one save point couldn't get any further then that the game wouldn't even tell me I played that but the other two save files worked fine

Arkham City already runs good; I was disappointed to Asylum as its the oldest and wasn't running 30fps consistently; and Knight is a mess, but it's funny. Really hope they can actually fix something at all.

Arkham Knight is not playable if it’s crashing all the time, sputtering, and hard to play in general. It’s like Sonic 06. Many people will try to say it’s playable, but if u can’t even jump off of a wall like you can always don then it is not playable. Dirty and Asylum runs great! I don’t remember City having textures popping in and out as much on the Xbox 360, but it’s nothing that really compromises the experience. I wish them the best with patching it

I have an Oled which is only a year old when I purchase. And it runs good only played a bit of knight so far finished asylum and city wit no problems. I’m up to catwoman/riddler part of the game. I’ve played it all on handheld so far and have found no problems. This is my first playing it. The only problem I’ve have so far is I’m on easy mode and the gameplay is hard as 😅 and I’m a gamer. And it’s a bit bright because I have to turn the brightness up as some parts is dark. I tell you what Hogwarts legacy had way more worse sputtering than the trilogy on steam and I’ve just finished it 100% on legacy through switch a few weeks ago with no problems except a few minor problems but I was really impressed. So if anybody does own an Oled I think you’ll be able to play it well on there

Origins should have been the one to be ported to the Switch, Nintendo already had its own version on the Wii-U, so they should have ported that instead, Rocksteady was not involved with it but still, the game was great minus the bugs, plus Origins could have gotten the spotlight once more, maybe hinting towards a possible PS4 port

I played through the majority of Arkham knight, and there are only five Riddler trophies that have game breaking glitches on them. I’ve been trying to contact turn me up games but it’s very difficult to send a message that they have glitches. Edit: truthfully, there’s only four, but the one on bleak island where you have to communicate with the riddler robot can be done it is very glitchy. Edit 2: the Riddler, Riddle about the bomb from Arkham city should be not glitched as well so now only about three riddler trophies with game breaking glitches. Edit 3: theres also a milita tower you need to cheese because of an invisible barrier by doing a line luncher and jumping over it both before you explode the command module and after getting out.

I think batman arkham knight is crazy impressive on switch. Like this game shouldn't even be able to run at what its running at. But it would be nice if they make the framerate more stable but i do enjoy it on switch though.

One month after this was uploaded, I tried playing Arkham Knight for the first time on my Switch. I cremated the Joker, went through the fear toxin diner stuff, then the game froze right near the end of Gordon's monologue mid cutscene. The rest of the audio played but the screen stayed frozen, then the game crashed. BEFORE I GOT TO PLAY AS BATMAN. This game never should've been ported to Switch, the Arkham trilogy bundle should've had Origins instead of Knight

Arkham asylum ran pretty well only a couple of cutscenes lagged but that’s about it arkham city ran perfectly arkham knight gameplay wise ran perfectly but visually it hurts my eyes if I stare at it too long

Arkham knight isn't as bad as many say, I played it on ps4 and on switch, of course the switch version do not look as good as on any other platforms, but its ok and it runs not well but also not horrible, the batmobile causes the most trouble but I'd manage to get through it without a problem

Ive got lots of crashes from the last third of the game, post endgame too They have to fix this first because thats unacceptable. Some were happening in the middle of boss tanks fights. I played handheld on my oled and the framerate was 70% of the time fine though. They should work more on how to improve textures quality and put some anti aliasing. Despite all these issues, I still had a good time playing it. I loved the narration and the use of the batmobile. The original game on ps4 might be a masterpiece.

It is, it plays the same, had it on the PS4, it looks absolutely outstanding, still do. The visuals add a lot to the atmosphere to be honest, but I absolutely enjoyed it on the switch as well.
