They Fixed The Kronos Roof Conversion

Great to see you got the issues fixed...and yes I concur on your comments about Sean...he helped me out to get products (that were already paid for) from Quick Pitch after they stopped responding for 6 months. He asked nothing in return, just did me a huge favour. His attitude and integrity earned him a loyal customer, and I'm about to get the Kronos done. Happy travels Senor Nerd!

I didn’t mention this in the video but I was given the option to have mine replaced with the newest design or the original design and I chose to go with the original due to being able to have it done sooner but I got to see the newest one in the worship and I would have equally been happy with either because I don’t really care for the back window view. So because I have the original design that is exactly like the Hercules, a decision was made to only show the changes of the newest design in this video as that is what all customers will be getting from now on. This is why I couldn’t show it in detail inside in the video. But it’s just as roomy and just as good if not better

I try my best not to have owners bias and say the one I got is the best because it’s the one I chose. But I have checked out all 3 of the popular options and can honestly say the Kronos is the clear winner now that they have fixed the terrible design choice they made previously.

Wish I got the same treatment! My conversion was handed over late and incomplete, rivets missing from latches sikaflex marks everywhere some really average wiring and when I brought this to his attention he promised me a product which I’ve never seen and now he ignores my texts. I wish I had heard of Headspace campers conversions before I went ahead and got this one.

The access hatch lifts up from inside as shown in the animation. You climb up from inside the vehicle

I would still prefer the Alu Cab Hercules which has a bigger bed and more space/head room inside, which is crucial when you keep the roof closed (in town, bad weather or for security reasons when overlanding worldwide). Also the spare parts from Alu Cab are accessible world wide and better to get. These points are more important to me than a USB port or amber lights. 😉

The Hercules has been around a lot longer so if world wide support is important then you’re dead right there. As for the space, I think the difference is negligible. I have a setup with a bed below for stealth camping and there’s enough space for sure. The aesthetic differences are huge and that’s important for me and a big factor as to why I would choose the Kronos for sure if I was to build again.
