These legendary variants are actually pretty solid (fuck Last Rite). Just bc these can’t hipfire like DMT doesn’t mean they’re automatically bad. DMT has a catalyst specifically made for hip firing, nothing will ever come close to that accuracy. As long as people understand that, then there’s room for these guns to hang around too. Especially the one in the video.

The hip fire/offhand combo does feel incredible (for hip fire), but it's a gimmick. It feels good for hip fire, but still feels worse than just ADSing. The Kill Clip roll was the one I was excited about when I first saw the perks it got and wondered if it would proc on loading a single bullet (it does) and wondered if you could stall the Kill Clip timer starting by continuing to reload if there was still space in the mag (you can), both of which make it one of the better kill chaining legendary primaries in 6v6 in my opinion.

Hipfire grip with freehand grip slaps man, but I don’t think the point is to try and duel someone at like 40m from the hip yknow. It’s just assurance that if you get rushed and do need to descope, you can reliably kill someone pushing you (especially since there’s less special ammo to kill people aping with weapons like smgs and shi). Plus other than rapid hit, the rest of the perks in that slot are pretty dog (you can argue keep away for the extra accuracy on successive shots I guess, but to me it’s just not worth it over consistent hipfire)

Well, yeah? It's +30HP; it's gonna affect every gun. That said, handcannons got a 5% bodyshot nerf and only a 10% headshot buff, so relative to the old sandbox you're losing damage either way. Handcannons also got a nerf to the flinch they apply.

Because: 1: Bungo. 2: It's an aggressive frame scout rifle; an archetype that plain sucked. 3: It doesn't actually two-tap in the new sandbox. Supremacy is bugged and didn't get the new changes, which is how Wallah is doing it here. You can see in the video he's critting for 100 damage (rounded up, since it's not killing t10 resil) which isn't enough to kill in two hits since everyone has 215-230HP now.
