@@theduckgoesmoo It differs depending on the design of the theater and how old the equipment is, but the worst I've worked at would rank "black car in a heat wave." We've improved the insulation and heat direction fairly well over time so the newer models are more tolerable, but it still feels like working next to an industrial oven when you're wearing all black and working up in the flys during a light adjustment. Its the glass lenses (and metal parts of the housing) that gets hot enough to give 2nd and 3rd degree burns and over time plastic gel sheets that are used in some models will warp and melt from the heat. Its imperative that no part of the lens or light bulb is touched by your hand during maintenance otherwise the oil from your fingerprints will cause the glass to heat unevenly and shatter, raining molten glass needles down on the stage. (I was unfortunate enough to be walking under a light when this happened. Something must have been watching over me because I was luckily looking down at the time and when I looked around there was a perfect circle of tiny glass shards surrounding me. It was surreal as shit.)

And speaking of bulbs, I remember this one time where my stage tech teacher opened a box of them to replace one and was telling us how important it was to never touch it and as he was pointing at it, he touched it. Simple really, the idea never crossed any of their minds most likely. Also if they did, how would they be able to tell if they "overdid it?" Loopty died and Lyle survived, so it was just a coincidence that he survived in the time the people came.

If you check the background of Lumpty and Bltizo's moment with the board saying "Mood Board" there is an episode 2 reference with Robo Fizz being eaten by the dragon. Blitz's Clown outfit is based on Brandon Rogers' clown outfit The nature scene where the main characters Blitz, Moxxie, and Millie dressed as cats. Moxxie is dressed up as Husker from Hazbin Hotel. During the opera scene and after the fat lady singing dying. In the back, there is a person with Angel Dust's hairstyle beside the old man. The conflict between the two groups was that the target needed to end up in Hell. They just assumed, since the cherubs showed up to prevent his death, that he would go to heaven when he died unless he purposely killed himself. It just ended up not mattering in the end because of his human experimentation to achieve the technological advances that caused the cherubs to intervene in the first place. Or at least, that's how I read the situation.

Those weird baby angels you see in art are called Cherubs (Even though in the bible they don't look like that. Look up "Biblically Accurate Angels" for a laugh...or a horrified screech). It's like how Imps are real demonic things in biblical lore, and they made an acronym around their name.
