This is my note from this class: This generation can be very well established in different professions also be very well educated on Allah’s book and are articulate enough to speak intelligently about Allah’s book. Creating our own study circles as well as attending different sessions that go through the whole Quran and share lessons from the Quran. The experience of reading the translation of the Quran, and sitting, and listening to the Quran being explained are worlds apart. The more passionate you are about the Quran, the more passionately you’ll be able to speak about the Quran. You don’t have to become a scholar of Islam but have a bare minimum knowledge about the Quran and Islam so that you can passionately speak about them like you do about your favorite game, tv series, or movies.

It is interesting to note that the Bible (Injil?) had something somewhat similar to your explanation ( who is this guy part). When the villagers heard him speaking /lecturing , they said to one another " Is he not the carpenters son? isn't his mother Mary? Aren't his brothers James, Joses, Simon and Judas? And his sisters, are they not all with us? Then where did he get this things ( Ideas / Speech) from? ...." (and THEY were OFFENDED by him) Matthew 13:55

⏩ITNAAB -Allah could have started with ba'asa, he appointed a prophet from among the umiyeen -but Allah said He is the one who, this ITNAAB, this reference to Allah in this way forces us to go back with the previous Ayah . He is making a conncetion in 1st and 2nd ayah, The king,the pure etc and everything doing tasbeeh is the one who raised a messenger from among umiyeen who can recite his ayahs etc ⏩MEANING OF بعث -Primary meaning : raised -ba'asa hum min naumihi means getting up from sleep. Thats why akhirah is also called youmul ba'as -imbi'as is when you rush and get up and start walking (some weird king of waking up that happens a lot with me) ⏩ PREPOSITION -When you add a preposition with a verb, a new meaning can ovcur like giving up or giving in. Totally diff meaning. -ba'asa comes with a number of preposition, it comes with -ila الى (which means send someone to (ba'sa ila)/to appoint someone the task) -'la على (imposing someone on someone, (ba'sa lana) when you assing someone to beat someone up) -fee في (within/in) -if it was ila it would mean the mission of prophet was towards the umiyeen, ala would have meant tgat prophet was chosen for them as a punishment. Fee means to choose someone thats frkm within them, so it means he raised up from within them (from in thier society, culture everybody knew him he ate with em etc) Arsala means to send - which means to send from somewhere else. A Rasool of a king comes from sonewhere else makes the announcement in his royal clothes and go away -but ba'sa is used which means nabi was from within them, Allah could have sent a scary angel but Allah chose to send a messenge from within them cuz he wanted the message to be understood by people as not soemthing thats being imposed on them. Thats his unique kingdom. ⏩ Use of في and من -use of fee means from within them -use of min means from us -prople have bias, they trust people who are from them. One can be wihtin a people but not from them originally. -Allah said Allah never sent a messanger except in the language (and culture (lisaan)) of their people -you could be from a people but not in the people (like those who move abroad) and when you go back to your country you dont fit even thi you are from them -But Allah sent nabi s.a.w from umiyeen from within them. They have lived and seen him in his childhood(his record is clean).They have no excuse to reject him. He knows their culture, he has lived among em
