@@imjay1788 I cam understand not liking him at the end of the day no one should be forced to like a character but to say he is out and out trash is insane to me. I was bullied by seniors in my secondary school (you don't know true pain until someone combins two leather belts to flog you on your back) but if that same person is shown to have grown and then gives his life to save countless people I wouldn't be able to call him out and out trash cuz I then need to ask myself would I do the same in the same position. People aren't black and white everyone has wronged someone at on point or the other best you can do is apologize and do better.

I honestly don’t think he is dead, severely injured and on the verge of death yes. There might be a connection to the rain and his quirk, since it says he hates the rain, it might be enough to calm his internal explosions caused by the build up of glycerin in his body. Horikoshi is known for his trolls in manga, he makes you think one thing and then surprises you with a twist in the next manga. I think Bakugo is too important of a character to die or stay dead. The only way they can play this is to fuel Deku’s rage to finally deliver the killing blow to All-For-One and Shigaraki.

@@MasterChief806 Bakugo is Basically Deku’s Vegeta, I highly doubt that he is going to be killed off that easily. There are so many factors and ways to keep his character alive. Eri can rewind, Overhaul can revive, we haven’t seen Deku’s last power, and Bakugo still has a chance for his quirk to mutate. Also Best Jeanist can sew his heart closed, Horikoshi has many options and is the king of Trolls when it comes to ending manga chapters.

I agree. I mean his body might just needed to be badly damaged just so his quirk can mutate or evolve so his body can withstand. What I mean by that is when go threw something several times. It can build up resistance or become stronger. Even use muscle memory to avoid any real life damage. I been threw several bike crashes and in one of them, my body knew how bad this crash would be. So it temporary shut down so I wouldn't tense up. Because if I did, things would have been worse. After the crash, I looked bad, felt bad, but I was in a lot better condition than I looked. Only thing I had was a mild concussion, a slightly broken noise, and my cheek bone was broken. Could had more injuries than that like a broken arm. But I didn't have one. So I think something like that could happen to Bakugo but on a bigger scale.

They have stated several times in the story that quirks can appear as 1 thing and as they develop they can manifest as something different. What if Bakugo’s quirk isn’t explosion but like cell manipulation. The only way he could use it was causing cells to explode. Quirk awakening will allow him to manipulate his cells in alternate ways including self healing

I really think he is going to come back. There are wayyy too many unanswered questions, especially regarding the 2nd OFA user. The set up for his 'death' were a little too perfect. Horikoshi pulled out all the tear jerkers. Katsuki's parents.. Him talking to All Might's vestige, telling him his best kept secret.. He does seem extremely dead, and I go think it's going to be very difficult for Hori to bring him back without it seeming like straight plot armor…. But I don't even care at this point. Deku needs Bakugo and I think it would just crush him beyond repair if he just flat out dies here.

My idea is, assuming that Tamaki still has got a bit of energy left, he may try performing CPR on Bakugo using the electric shocks of an eel as a defibrillator (think of how Enel in OP uses his own powers unconsciously to do exactly that) In a few chapters, once Deku manages to arrive, he'll most likely see Bakugo lying there just on the very brink of death and go berserk like Gon, unleashing OFA's true potential at the cost of possibly losing the quirk forever, then once it's all finally over, Eri will arrive and use her powers, which she now can fully control thanks to Dadzawa training her, and bring back both Deku and Bakugo like before

I’m so glad you’ve gone over this topic ‘cause my mind’s been buzzing since reading this chapter. I’m in the same boat feeling so conflicted on how this could be handled. If he legitimately is gone, it’d suck, but I’d have to personally give BIG props to Horikoshi for going this route. But if he is still alive, there would have to be SOME sort of long lasting result, like, maybe he in the end becomes unable to use his Quirk (harkening back to a Quirkless Deku maybe[?]) due to the damage his body sustained or something that doesn’t make this moment feel, I don’t know, cheapened? I hope that makes sense. Either way, I’ve been in this story for the long haul, but this is the first time I’ve literally felt so on the edge of my seat.

As I said in other videos, I'm reserving judgment until it's officially confirmed Bakugo's dead (either by the characters or by Horikoshi himself), but if he is, then I have gained mad respect for Horikoshi. I had a nagging feeling in the back of my mind that one of the Class 1-A students might die, but I didn't think he'd actually have the balls to kill off Bakugo of all people. Seriously, can you imagine what this scene'll look like when it's animated? And to make the scene even more tragic, Bakugo has a hole in his chest much like Best Jeanist did when he tried to fight All For One in the Kamino battle. No doubt the poor man was having flashbacks to that day, only now he has to watch his student suffer the same fate. As for the similarities thing, it's highly possible Bakugo is a descendant of the 2nd user, much like how Mr. Compress was revealed to be the Great-Great Grandson of Oji Harima, the Peerless Thief. Maybe his Quirk is similar to Bakugo's. (No, I don't believe in the time travel theory because time travel wouldn't fit the world of MHA).

I have a theory of how Bakugo could come back without it being something like "Plot Armor" Remember the video that you made relating to Chapter 349 and the possibility that the 2nd User of OFA may have a Time based Quirk? I believe that it might be true. The reason why I believe that it might be true is because of when he was introduced. Keep in mind that the Quirk AFO, the strongest Quirk that exists, and All For One obtained a Quirk that either slowed down his age or stopped him from aging(Which to me sounds like a useful Quirk). It's possible that the 2nd OFA user's Quirk may relate to Aging(Maybe something like reversing or increasing the age of Non-living things). The 2nd OFA user states that after his Quirk fused with OFA, his Quirks became so strong that if Midoriya used it, it would be out of his control & he should only use it as a Last Resort. What if, after his Quirk merged with OFA and has been boosted, his Quirk not only can age Non-Living materials, but can also age Living creatures, Slow Down or Accelerate Time, or even go back in time. (I'm not saying that he will have all three, I'm saying that he may have one of the three. Also with going back in time, I'm thinking a set distance up to 1 year ago) The Quirk may be powerful but the drawback may be worse, something like if he uses it for too long he'll lose years off of his life. For example, if he uses it for around 1 hour, he could possibly lose 10 years off of him, which is why the 2nd OFA user warned him about using his quirk. If Midoriya's Final Quirk is a Time base Quirk, then when he does make it & sees Bakugo's body and hearing that he's Dead, at first he might be in rage mode and start attacking Shigaraki/AFO without thinking, but after he calmed down he starts to think of what to do and at some point asks the Big 3 & Pro heroes to give him 1 Minute to rewind what happened to Bakugo's body, or at least rewind his heart, back to normal. The only problem with this Theory is that it relies on the 2nd OFA user having a Time base Quirk. To me, it makes sense because of Midoriya & Shigaraki/AFO's Quirks and how they can go against each other. Both of them have a Quirk for flight(Midoriya's Float/Shigaraki's Wings), create Tendrils(Midoriya's Blackwhip & Shigaraki's Rivet Stab), Both have overwhelming power(Midoriya's OFA, Fa Jin, & Full Cowl/ Shigaraki's Heavy Payload & Springlike Limbs),They both have Quirks that go against each other(Midoriya's Smokescreen to hide but Shigaraki's Search can find him), and Both can create Air Bullets(Air Force/ Air Cannon). So if Shigaraki ended up getting the Age Halting Quirk it would make sense for Midoriya to have some type of Aging Quirk to counter it. Edit: I'm not saying that he will Time Travel, I'm just saying that it's a possibility. I know that Time Travel is a Cop Out, but what I was thinking at the time was "What types of Age/Time base Quirks could he have?" And I'll admit Time Travel isn't my favorite option, but I simply put down the options I was thinking of.

Imagine literally dying while not fulfilling your dream, then suddenly waking up in a world you don’t know anyone and no one knows you, you never see your friends, mentors, and parents again, and your fate now is to live the rest of your life alone with the burden of the future on your shoulders, all leading up to an eventual second death in a climactic battle against AFO.

There's a possibility through a mix of Jeanist using his quirk to stitch Bakugo's heart back together, and possibly Nejire's quirk that can probably be used in a similar way to a defibrillator they might be able to start his heart back up before his body really does die out, a stopped heart doesn't entirely mean someone's dead in that instance, jumpstarting a heart is a possible thing in the real world so it's possible in MHA.

This definitely gives credence to Bakugo being the second OFA user time loop theory. I believe it without a doubt now all the pieces are in place at this point it all makes sense. Especially the way the 2nd user acts and looks, and why he told Deku not to use his powers because of the dangers of it which we see clearly now resulting in his death in this timeline. Now maximized by OFA his explosion abilities would probably take a greater toll and be way more destructive. It also allows Bakugo to become a Hero like All Might just in a different timeline it all comes full circle. While also being Vestige Deku can talk to along with All Might as well.

But yeah at this point I’m really reaching. Also Bakugou had a little heart emblem on the left side of his vest in the red formal wear spread (so major foreshadowing there).He also squeezed one eye and held up four fingers. Four in most East Asian countries is pronounced si/shi which also sounds like “death”. Hence this is why the number 4 is considered unlucky. There are two more characters holding up the number four in that panel… and I think Horikoshi may not go for “return of the Jedi” after all, but for “rouge one” if you get what I mean.

I can't unsee this. I remember vaguely of a chapter where we got introduced to the 2nd OFA user. The little memory sequence where he helped out Shigaraki (first OFA). On the panel, he uses his right Arm to help Shigaraki up. On the recent mangas... bakugo got his right arm demolished by our antagonist. So here's my pick on the time travel theory. It is indeed bakugo. His right arm got demolished so the 2nd OFA user didn't use his right arm much since he can’t damage it from his own quirk. But here's my MAIN theory. The 2nd OFA user is like a mirage or an image of Bakugo as to the first User being Deku. Both are a reflect of each-other, so this could partake in a little time similarity of both Deku and Bakugo, as to Shigaraki and 2nd OFA user.

Fun fact, intravenous nitroglycerine is sometimes used for sudden heart failure. Now is the only time that Bakugo has nitroglycerine in his bloodstream, because of cluster bomb. If Jeanist can sew his heart together, then Bakugo can use his will to blast himself back to life. Honestly if it were me I'd be on the fence of bringing him back.. his death felt atleast to me, realistic in a sense.. he over worked himself and was fighting someone immensely stronger. I have a potential theory. Jeanist could possibly leave the battlefield with a nearly dead Bakugo, then they could take him to Eri if the Big 3 can buy enough time, it could possibly be done depending on Eri's current location. And more importantly, can they buy Deku enough time for him to get on the battlefield? Well they probably cannot in my believe. The only way Deku can get there before Shigaraki destroys the remaining UA is if someone else can buy Deku time before it's too late. Someone like Uraraka will make almost no difference in combat. But someone like Shoto can make a difference. He has Fire and Ice and I don't know a whole lot about where he is but if Shoto can get there he can keep the area clear, Bakugo safe and should be able to buy some time. My potential theory is that his only hope is either Shoto or someone that specializes in defensive abilities. Todoroki is a perfect example of offensive and defensive abilities given it can be done with his Fire and Ice combo. He can never defeat Shigaraki going toe to toe. But he can at least keep Bakugo safe until back up arrives. Shoto can defend Bakugo while Jeanist tries to get medical support for Bakugo. They lose Jeanist but the gain the help of a powerful ally. Namely Shoto. This is a theory by the way so don't get your hopes up ;)

It's a long stretch but hear me out! --Theory-- We may see a Kishimoto pull-off - We saw in Naruto Shippuden 4th Ninja War Arc that we had a heartbreak moment with Naruto and Sasuke. What I mean is in the war they were DESTROYED by Madara - and who came to the rescue of the 2nd main character (Sasuke) - KABUTO! To parallel this - we still have options if Hori Sensei planned this already - What's the parallel you ask? - OVERHAUL! Just like Kabuto in NS, Overhaul can redeem himself after seeing Deku saving him in the Rogue Deku Ark (Deku vs Lady Nagant) and comes to the rescue after atoning with Eri - restoring his arms, healing his old man, and joining the Heroes in this and comes to save Bakugo - after all, we still don't know the limits of Overhaul but we can assume that he is well educated in Medicine and can use his quirk to help, just like Kabuto seeing his mistakes in the Izanagi, finding himself and realizing that the future and goals that he wants are wrong and TomurAFO are even worst. Just like in NS we didn't even think that KABUTO of all people can save Sasuke - the same can be said for Overhaul. Plus we haven't seen Overhaul in a long time. Going even deeper - WHAT IF the objects approaching Deku are NOT only the planes (Star and Stripes's crew) but ALSO Overhaul's Shie Hassaikai to help their boss in this? The points are in place - many of the characters in the Shie Hassaikai Arc are key points in these current Hero War sub-Arcs, Big Three with Overhaul, Rappa with Fat Gum or Kirishima, etc. Let's see if you are on board with me - let's discuss!

I think he IS dead, AND will be brought back. Also, I think Deku will lose his sh*t and rethink his stance about the whole 'I want to save everyone' deal, at least when it comes to Shigaraki. As to how Bakugo will be brought back, I'm not sure. I think it's very telling by now that we still don't know what Deku's final Quirk within All For One is, while Bakugo gets killed before Deku gets to Shigaraki. I think it does give credence to the Bakugo is 2nd OFA user theory, which at this point I thought was little more than an amusing idea. So perhaps the time travel idea is correct. Alternately, maybe Eri's quirk can save Bakugo by rewinding him before the injury. Maybe Deku's final quirk has an healing/restoration effect which he can use on Bakugo. I don't know. There's probably many ways to bring him back that might work, but I doubt he's gone for good. He's the Vegeta to Deku's Goku, and I think people love him too much for Horikoshi to end his story with just a boost of motivation/rage for Deku. Obviously, I could be wrong, but I never said I could see the future. Just my 2 cents, is all.

Even though it was indeed a shocking moment, I doubt that Bakugo’s gone and Horikoshi will miraculously find a way to bring him back, even though some folks aren’t going to like it cause it takes away a emotional moment and so on. I personally don’t care because none of it actually mattered and this was meant to happen in Shonen shows. Bakugo’s one of my favorite characters and he totally grew on me throughout the series despite the hate that he gets from the haters.

I'm mixed with how I feel but I'm not believing this is the end of Bakugo until Deku shows up. "You cant kill off a main character. Horei Koshi: BET" Seeing the general horror as a future horror mangaka seems like a fun idea but probably unlikely it's only that skin deep. But we needed something so tragic to emphasize what there is to lose. I think it's very unlikely that they will teleport Eri (and through extension All Might) to the battlefield. but of all the places for her to show up, this one is the most likely since that's where big bro Mirio is. It is possible that Monoma and Aizawa figured out what stockpile Eri uses for her quirk and planned ahead of time to have Monoma have that at the ready. But Monoma using Rewind is almost as likely as him using Warp Gate, unless warp gate needs a visual component (that would take away his attention from Shiggy) for quirk activation but Rewind just needs physical contact. Besides Bakugo detonating himself back alive, I always thought of a Nejire-chan wave being another solution. But that's without thinking of a broken-looking organ. From what I could see, nitroglycerin is used to widen blood vessels for more blood flow and is often linked with low blood pressure. So, it could be that everything is still flowing but there isn't enough pressure to get a pulse? Also, I feel like if this really is the 2nd user, AFO would have mentioned him by name unless there is an in universe thing like how Dabi was Toya (heavily guessed by fans but not obvious in universe) but for Bakugo to 2nd OFA user (even tho I think AFO is perceptive enough to see through that besides seeing a younger and different-personality 2nd user). But I would love to see it or a mirror to the 2nd user (as Bakugo bring an ancestor of, or at least being compared to, the 2nd user in AFO's eyes) especially with the other more minor mirrors of Deku to the 1st user. Since HoreiKoshi created the universe, I bet there are the bones to something that would be revealed as the way to save Bakugo right now. The bnha world logic mimics our own but that's what makes the solution so hidden unless pointed out. Even without Recovery Girl, medical stuff seems to work faster in this universe (think Endeavour after fighting the nomu? Etc.) and there's more advanced technologies that we just don't see since this show doesn't go too far into the newer technologies (besides a small amount of science, just so we know logistically how Nomu are made), we just see the results. Going off of Endeavour agency arc, where Bakugo states that he wants to find out what he can't do, it would be cool to see that even this is something he CAN do (as in surviving from this). So I'd love to see how he survives. I think there enough ways to make Bakugo survive without plot armor, it just depends on what path HoreiKoshi decides to take and, more importantly, how HoreiKoshi describes and explains why Bakugo can survive. I just want to see a big mirror between Bakugo and Deku, from when they were kids where Bakugo fell into the stream and Deku tried to help him up but this time Bakugo takes his hand. For next chapter, I'm hoping that HoreiKoshi swaps battle fields to build tension. Like to Spinner or back to Toga, etc. Or to Tenko's inner monologue, or generally inside of AFO, where everything is fighting inside against the outside or where, from inside the shell of Shiggy, they can see glimpses of both battlefields (OG AFO and Shiggy AFO) but as a dissociation/derealization-type distance from inside the husk. Maybe even a visual of Tenko being saved by the AFO "spirits", that mirrors back to the 1st user of OFA being broken out and saved by revolutionaries. Either way, I want to have the suspense build of the entire weight of Bakugo potentially being dead to weigh on the community for a bit. It's great for the story impact.

To throw my own sense into this, as much as it would be great to see bakugo alive and survive this, from what I’ve seen and experienced in other animes, he bit the dust. As you said, it looked like his heart suffered physical damage, which is a big yikes. The issue is that if that’s true then bakugo has very little to no chances of surviving since they would’ve had to escape and go to the nearest hospital, however we don’t know how far away that would be or even if they could get there fast enough, we wouldn’t know how much time they would have to actually save him. The human body can only last up to maybe 5 minutes without the heart functioning but that could be either longer or shorter. And how it’s all presented, it would just be a massive cop out. So yeah I do believe that bakugo is more than likely dead, the variables just point to that and the chances of his survival is slim if not nonexistent. We’ll have to wait and see how it turns out

Small internal explosions keep his heart beating till he gets the proper attention and or deku has a new life line quirk like in the naruto ninja war ark where he gives him a slice of one for all to get healed. Many ways they can go. It's just which one is the right way

My favorite character is Bakugo, and while I wouldnt mind his death being used to help Deku fulfill his destiny to defeat AFO; he did kinda go out in a crappy and meaningless way. He practically did nothing to AFO and died like a side character basically. I do think the All Might vestige scene was significant though. Horikoshi is not one who adds meaningless details like that without a purpose, and I think it will tie in to how Bakugo could come back to life. While I would prefer the time travel Eri theory, I think Bakugos link with OFA and Deku will be what ultimately brings him back. I dont believe hes out for good.

I don't believe he's dead, extremely wounded yes and his heart stopped but i believe he can be resuscitated.. somehow, maybe Best Jeanist attempts heart surgery and the nitroglycerin helps, though i think this might be a stretch, i doubt Best Jeanist has much medical training, even then, if it succeeds, Bakugo would likely have to stick to a wheelchair until Eri can heal him

My heart goes to Bakugo so hard. Just wow him dying like that. Deku will go crazy I think with his friend dying. It seems the higher cost of being a hero will have lots of sacrifice involved. It is hard to save everyone to keep them alive. Also there are some villians can never be save. So I wonder how Izuku will handle this problem that is fall upon him. I think the final power of Deku might have some kind of time reversal power, im nkt gonna go back and read the recent chapters atm to confirm but i felt like it was being hyped up to be a 'one and done' power that is meant for Shigaraki. But Deku might use the power to save Bakugo instead, and then fight Shigaraki without it

Reversal.* If you're trying to get from point A to point B - say from one side of the ocean to the other - and are able to reverse time to some extent without you moving back with it, then you would absolutely end up at your destination faster, because you'd have reversed the time it took you to get there. It's literally right there in the name. So your own response should actually end with '...so yes, maybe.'

For all you know, the equipment is nothing more than a weapon and has literally nothing to do with the Quirk itself. A guess is not evidence that another theory is wrong. Heck, if the quirk is time reversal, or time travel or whatever, it would make even more sense for the user to get a weapon he can rely on when he needs to fight, given that the quirk would not be offensive per se.

@@toastyiestpancake Yeah, but even if he did need to die, which I don't think he has to, then this would be the worst way to do it. He dies just after learning Shigaraki's moves? It's random as hell. There was no build-up, it just "happened". If we go back to the chapter where Endeavor burned up AFO, and the chapter ended right when he said "He's dead.", would people believe that? Absolutely not. Even if his entire body vanished, nobody would believe it.
