If you guys didn't know, that sale they put up on Steam was on purpose. That sale has been up for about a week or two right before the release deadline. The mod requires for you to buy the official game made by the COD Devs & Activision. So they literally put it on sale to get people to buy it, sent a C&D to H2M and are now trying to act like they didn't do anything. If you played more than 2 hours because you were testing out parts of the mod before the multiplayer release, you can't get a refund. Activision needs to be extinct at this point. Activision, Blizzard, EA, Ubisoft and others need to stop making/publishing games.

The TF2 mod was uploaded on the BO3 steam workshop, which is officially approved and developed by Activision, it's likely that H2M was shut down because it wasn't made using official tools or cause it was a mod for a game that Activision didn't want people to mod. With the RCE exploits on old CoD games the way I know it works is this, the only way to play old CoD games is through other clients and non activision servers that have anticheat that keeps up with everything. Which are highly rare since most do get C&D from Activision, the only one I know being Plutonium which covers MW3 through to BO2. Its likely that the mod would have dedicated servers or patches applied to fix these known issues, as without it would be highly careless otherwise.

Only reason why a lot of people are playing MW3 on Xbox is because of gamepass (I spoke to quite a few people in game and the general consensus was the game was fun but not fun enough to spend 70 bucks on it.) Just to clarify because it doesn’t seem like people understand. Activison has no problems with mods. If that was genuinely true bo3 zombies mods wouldn’t exist. Bo3 zombies mods are fine because it’s pve; it’s you and four friends playing againsts bots. It doesn’t affect the game whatsoever. H2m effect’s multiplayer. That’s the difference. This applies to almost all games gta v allows mods in single player but you can’t bring it to online. Fivem and gta online are not the same
