If they were all leaving in a rush it could be why he/she forgot to do chores. I was known to tell my children do not come in the house and expect food if you didn't feed your animals. They knew the Bible verse "if ye shall not work ye shall not eat". Prayers for your friend and you all as you travel. And a Blessed - Happy Father's Day.

GRANDER PLZ READ THIS, After me watching you talk to your daughter about loosing her privileges do to her brother not doing his chores, this broke my heart and it has laid heavy on my heart for days now. I just had to share my childhood with you. I know you are doing what you think is right and not for me to judge, but plz hear me out as being the oldest and having a younger sister, and two younger brothers. We all had chores too (that's a good thing), but when the younger ones didn't get theirs done and I did, I still got in trouble because I was responsible for them my Dad said. Yet I wasn't allowed to get on to them for not doing them, but responsible. So my one brother seen this and refused to do his chores and made me do his because he knew I would get in trouble if I didn't. I would tell my Dad that, and I would get in trouble for being a tattle tale, I was in a no win situation. I ended up resenting my brother for many years because of it, Of course I love him now. If you read this, thank you, I am such a big fan and love everything you are about, I even started my two channels because I was Inspired by you and Earl. Everyone has their own way of parenting. Personally I could never hold my oldest son accountable or punish him for his little brother not doing the chores assigned to him. To me, it would show my youngest that he doesn't have to do his chores all the time because my oldest would do it regardless so he doesn't get punished as well. But again that's me and everyone is different.

My brother in law was raising pigs. He had three teen boys who were supposed to help feed the pigs. We had some close to zero degree days and the boys decided it was too cold to head out to the pig pen and feed the pigs. BIL came home late evening to find 3 dead pigs, there were big ones, several hundred pounds each. He dragged all three boys out of bed at 1 am and made them go dig holes to bury the dead pigs. He explained as they were digging that these pigs would have supplied a lot of bacon, chops, ribs and more so no pork for the next 6 months or more.

May 2021 I had a heat stroke which led to two brain bleeds. That was the worst headache I ever had. I was in the hospital for 4 days. I'm fine now but I can't get over heated.

Great video , Maverick is getting so big and so cute !! but kinda agree with some of the other comments … expectations should be upfront and pretty sure London would’ve made sure Lincoln did his chores if she knew that ..Lincoln’s old enough to know what he was supposed to do .. hold him accountable he will not always have someone going around checking his work .. he will just get fired tough lesson for some to learn !

Great parenting. We could all take a lesson from you. London, youre an excellent big sister. The way you love animals, i know youd never intentionally leave them without water. Lincoln is still pretty little and needs you to encourage him, not bossy but lovingly. Stand there with him while he does his chores, he may be afraid to be out there alone. 😉 He may never tell you that but, a little company makes the work easier. God Bless and keep you all safe!

I retired the end of May so I don't have to travel 50 minutes to work at 4am anymore, but truly loved listening to you on after midnight... I have caught a few of them since... just to let you know you do a fantastic job at it. Plus give you a compliment on how you handled the kids not doing their chores. You did the right thing in the right way. You and Amber are very great parents. Glad to hear you're finished with your book. Do have one question is it going to be on an audio book? We have an awesome library in our little town here in southwest Iowa. And it's been really hot here heat index yesterday was 106 but thank goodness for the wind... prayers for you and Amber and the kids during this time of loss ....
