Violent criminals released from prison early on Tuesday have said they are “certainly not” rehabilitated and may reoffend.
Men jailed for burglaries or serious assaults described a prison system in crisis after leaving HMP Brixton in south London, most after serving only 40 per cent of their sentences.

government policy makes perfect sence when you grasp what governments job actually is, gov job is to farm us same as cattle to get revenue from us then pass that onto super rich corporations that then pass it onto the banks. government do there job perfectly, stamer boris blair thatcher sunak all do there job perfectly by keeping wages low taxes high crime high and people poor and fighting between themselves. soon as u except this truth then everything makes perfect sence, they have to release prisoners to make room for the so called far right protestors they will be locking up in the tommy robinson protests in october, ps i bet you a million pounds tommy wont do prison time and i also predict that the protest will become a massive riot because there will be undercover police to start it!

They’re supposed to be on programs which intend to rehabilitate the offender so they do not go back to crime. It’s not just “lock them up for 10 years with 3 meals a day” there is chance to study, counselling to change them so they can function in society on release. However he has not been given any of that in his 18 months so will most likely reoffend as he said…REFORM this country, desperately
@olihallam9667
@olihallam9667 4 күн бұрын
If you lock someone up for a crime and then treat them like animals, and dehumanise them then don't be surprised that they behave worse upon release. The lowest reoffending rates are in countries like Norway where they treat the prisoners like human beings and do alot to rehabilitate them. The country with more prisoners than the rest of the world combined is the USA, where you can get sentenced to death and they give sentences of hundred of years. Now which system works best?

(ready to ban patient for demanding the treatement) If yoi are born to certain parents and in certain areas, it will be the abuse for you all yhe way from secondary school. The system is clearly design to make these people suffer abuse, and also spread that abuse by those people on general public, and force these people to either kill themself or kill others or others kill them. Why do you think they still say, despite the clear state of the country, that the refugees are welcome, and then they house them alwats in poor, already deprived areas?

@colinyoung5690
@colinyoung5690 10 күн бұрын
@braveheart4603 I believe the prison service is just to keep you locked up, a removal of your liberty? My point is that, to allow people to improve it's somehow society fault and we all have to pick up the pieces and show him how to improve. That's not how it works, you can take a horse to water but you can't make it drink. For people to change, they themselves have to make a conscious decision within themselves to do better. I doubt it will be easy but nothing of value (self worth) is easy to achieve. It may sound a little harsh but you can see this playing out when you have kids. Some listen to some lessons and others think they know better, then reality kicks in. If a man has a drive to change, that's all he needs. He will be motivated to drive himself in the right direction. When other see this drive they naturally assist. Nobody wants to assist those lacking in motivation. Self motivation is the key without it, you are throwing resourse/money/time away.

Let me tell you something the government isn't. I got out of prison last May after serving 3 years. Half, and that's me being generous, of the prison population were foreign. And I wasn't in prison in London, I was in Chelmsford and then Highpoint in Suffolk. So you can see why the prisons are full. All the lovely doctors and engineers coming here, then blatantly committing crime. Now I'm no angel asike I said, I was there myself, but when our prisons are more than half full of non natives who apparently come here for "a better life" then that's why they are full. Don't let them come here, then they can't do the crimes to get banged up and that would mean more prison space. If course all the interviews will be of English prisoners being released so you don't see the truth as our laughable government don't want that but it's the truth. I've seen it first hand. And as for prisoners having nowhere to go upon release, well yet again that would be more possible if non natives weren't being given housing priority over natural born UK citizens. There would be more accommodation avaliable. I'm not picking on immigration but it's a 100% fact that I'm pointing out.

What you say is true/ How is it, even on common sense grounds, that we now have prisons full in relation to our boarders being opened up? Our prisons were not built to take in the world, and what is more some of our prisons were deliberately closed, like Lancaster. This young lad removes responsibility from himself to the system. Well, the system did not commit his crimes (s), he did, and it is up to him to pull himself together and to get off the path that led him into prison, in the first place. He clearly intends attacking some people, and here lays the excuse.

Apparently, the Prime Minister has made it public that his Wife & Children are his Lifeline? They are hugely privileged to have 24/7 Personal Security, so therefore, from the day he took office that will continue. Without Prejudice… HMS Brixton have released Cat: B & C Inmates back into Society without a care or concern for any Parent or Grandparent’s Children. The Inmate..now given his freedom has stated just how utterly ridiculous that decision is and stated that Brixton Prison will most likely be keeping his bed warm? It is apparent, the very person whom has allowed this to happen can rest assured he and his family will forever enjoy the 24/7 Protection but demonstrates his utter disregard and contempt to all, including the Security Services, the Police and their families, private and professional individuals, the Lawyer’s, The Courts, The Emergency Services, The NHS.. the list is endless!! Perhaps now… those whom hold the front line… might think…( Why are they putting themselves and their families ) in danger??? Think about it!!!
